Extra Antsy

April 21, 2011 by Julie 68 Comments

Gosh, I am so ready for the weekend. Something about an upcoming holiday makes me feel extra antsy at work… Or maybe it’s the buttload of work I have to do? Either way, I’m ready for Friday at 5 p.m.!

After crusin’ through my morning to-do list, I broke for a lunch that included a big salad topped with the same kind of veggie burger I tried and loved yesterday, along with chopped carrot and celery slices.

Big Ol' Salad

All dressed up in an Asian sesame dressing (added after the picture was snapped)!

Though I’m generally the kind of girl who will pick a sandwich over a salad, there’s something wonderful about the way I feel after I eat a ginormous veggie-packed salad.

I ride the veggie high all day long afterward!

I also sipped on a tumbler of hot tea at lunch.

Tea for Me

I used a tea bag from my own stash, but tomorrow I’ll be sippin’ on some tea from Starbucks… for FREE!

Have you heard that Starbucks is offering free coffee or tea to anyone who brings in a reusable tumbler tomorrow in honor of Earth Day? I’m so there!

Question of the Afternoon

  • Do you prefer coffee or tea? Or neither? What is your favorite hot beverage to order?

I like both coffee and tea, though hot chocolate will always be my favorite hot beverage. Extra whipped cream, please. 😉

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

It seems rare that you find someone who likes coffee and tea. Usually it’s one or the other. I’m a coffee girl all the way! Besides pumpkin spice lattes, iced caramel macchiatos are the jam.

I am right with ya! Hot chocolate with some whipped cream and a few marshmallows is the most amazing hot beverage!

I loooove iced coffee with just a splash of hazelnut creamer! : )

    But I love tea, respectively.

In fact, I have a cupboard dedicated to a variety of tea..

Thanks for the Starbucks news! I prefer iced coffee, but I go through phases where I drink a LOT of tea.

I find the taste of both tea and coffee completely disgusting. I hate drinks that are hot anyway. Ice cold is where it’s at!

I love me some coffee and almost get concerned how much I crave it! But I also really like tea from aveda…it’s yummy and I don’t have to put anything in it where with other teas I need some add ins lol
