This Halloween is full of treats!
The treats began last night in our house when Ryan and I exchanged our anniversary gifts. I totally dropped the ball and didn’t end up finding anything leather, so I veered from the traditional anniversary gift themes and gave him clothes and a little box of goodies.
I attached little cards to various food and beverage items that I know Ryan likes and used the name of the item in a sentence about why I love being married to him!
For example, attached to a bag of Combos pretzels, I wrote a card that said I love you because “you’re the perfect COMBO-nation of playful, loving, supportive and fun!” On a bag of Smartfood popcorn I wrote, “You’re SMART and challenge me… in a good way!” It was a fun project and I hope it conveyed to Ryan just how much he means to me.
We don’t normally go all-out for anniversary gifts, so I was shocked when I opened Ryan’s gift to me and found a beautiful new leather purse that can be both a cross-body purse or a clutch.
He went above and beyond and saved for it and I absolutely love what he picked out! I was shocked and so impressed and told him that I will wear it all day and all night! He definitely put my gift to shame. Thank you, Ryan!!
Treats continued at work today. Even though I work at a gym, we’re not above celebrating with a little candy!
My coworkers made fun of me because I grabbed a box of DOTS. Do people not like DOTS? I am so out of the loop. It’s not like I was loving on Bit O’ Honeys or something! Give me a little credit!
Once I was done working and teaching, I headed home for a late lunch which came together in no time at all thanks to leftovers.
I reheated last night’s crock pot dish of pulled chicken, potatoes, carrots and onion and ate it with an apple and a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
It was delicious!

YourReebok Giveaway
I have a feeling quite a few of you will be pumped for this giveaway!
This month, through my on-going partnership with Reebok, I was able to experience the company’s YourReebok page which allows people to customize shoes using various colors and personalization touches.
Since the Reebok Nano Speed has quickly become by all-time favorite Reebok shoe, I knew they were the pair of shoes I wanted to use as my design guinea pig!
I spent a little too long on the website and think I designed four different shoes before I finally settled on a certain look.
And yes, you can personalize the back of the shoes! I ended up opting out of that feature because I couldn’t think of anything more creative than my name to put on the back of my shoe, but I’m sure people come up with some awesome nicknames or funny taglines!
I played around with super bright colors, muted colors, lots of white and lots of color but in the end I put together a shoe with lots of purple and gray and a touch of light blue. 
They should be arriving sometime next week and I am pumped to put them to good use!

I’m not sure which pair I would choose, but I love bright colors in workout gear. I would probably use bright pink and turquoise maybe. Personalizing them sounds pretty cool, I might would put a nickname or maybe initials! What a great giveaway!
Such a fun giveaway! I would do something teal and grey – I’ve always loved those together. I would probably put Minksy on the back because that’s what my boyfriend calls me 🙂
I would personalize my shoes to say “Renew” because that is my Mom’s motto when it comes to health. She is a very active person and likes to look at fitness as a renewal process for mind, body and spirit. I like to use this as my motivation when I don’t feel like working out.

Definitely a pair of nanos! Id probably go with black, grey and blue. I think something motivational would be great on the back. “Just keep running” or “get going!” or something along those lines.

oh man, i used to love DOTS when i was a kid! they were so chewy and delicious. i think i liked them because i literally only ate them on halloween (i don’t think i’ve actually seen them anytime else).
i would most likely choose purple or aqua – the brighter the colors, the better! 🙂

I love the Nanos! I’d do blue and orange, and have them say WAR EAGLE for Auburn…or CALLIE for my sweet lab who can no longer keep up with my running pace, but I could still have her on runs with me. 🙁

I would definitely customize the nano 3’s. I would most likely make them white, red, and black. And unless I become ultra creative in the next few weeks, no customization for me!

I would choose the Nanos and since I usually wear all black to workout, I’d make the shoes pop with bright green and yellow.
I would definitely get the nano speeds because I am constantly changing up my workouts and usually find myself hopping on and off the treadmill to complete strength exercises in between sprints. As for the color, I really love the blue color and would probably pair it with pink or purple.
I’m sure it would take me ages to decide, but I know I’d use mostly purple. I love to run, so I think it would be really fun to incorporate that somehow with a little catch phrase or something!

Ohh making your shoes is so fun! I’ve done this once with Reebok and would love to do it again! My first pair I went crazy and they are so loud with purple and pink with splashes of yellow and blue – this time maybe I would pick something a little less crazy and do grey with some pale pink or green!!
If I was able to customize the reebok shoes, I would cohos the CrossFit Nano Speed! They would be perfect for the CrossFit classes I do and could be used when I run! It’s the perfect combination! The colors would be orange and black because to me those colors stand out and look really good on shoes!!!
