Harry & David Carrot Cake Cheesecake Giveaway

March 16, 2013 by Julie 1,309 Comments

I know many of you share my love for Harry & David, so I am excited to bring another giveaway your way today!

Harry & David recently reached out to me about a spring giveaway and I hopped on their website and had no trouble selecting something perfectly sweet that I hope you guys will enjoy.

How delicious does this look?

Harry & David Carrot Cake Cheesecakes

That, my friends, is Harry & David’s decadent carrot cake speciality cheesecake.

My mother-in-law always has the most indulgent, delicious desserts at her annual Easter brunch, and when I saw this cheesecake it instantly reminded me of wonderful family get-togethers that always seem to end with something sweet.

Having ordered this cheesecake myself before, I can assure you that one bite will have you wanting more! Sandwiched between two layers of carrot cake made with chopped walnuts and spices is Harry & David’s famous New York style cheesecake. The carrot cake cheesecake is made on site and frosted by hand with cream cheese frosting.

One PBF reader will win this carrot cake cheesecake.

To enter this giveaway, simply comment below, telling me when and where you’d like to enjoy this cheesecake.

And it’s totally cool if you’re going to eat it with a fork at home and keep it all to yourself like Chandler and Rachel. I like your style.

I will randomly select a winner on Monday morning.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I have never tried Harry and Davids carrot cake but carrot cake is a favorite of my sister and I. Especially for birthdays; a candle smushed in creamcheese frosting is the best! My sister recently returned from Sudan after working 6 months with the Jimmy Carter Center working in public health and couldn’t find work. Her scooter was stolen and she was barely able to buy food. She was riding her bike 2 job interviews. This week she finally found employment and I would love to send her this cake to celebrate!

I work incredibly hard taking care of my 5 month son, so I would wait until after he went to bed then take this cake to the couch and treat myself. Then, when I feed him next, he’ll get to indirectly taste the cake too, if you know what I mean :))

I deployed right before my birthday in November and my soon to be mother-in-law made me a funfetti castle cake, her birthday is coming up and I would love to give something back and make her day special. Since I can’t be there to make her a cake, I thought this would be perfect! I imagine she’d share it with her family 🙂

Okay, I’ll admit the first time I laid eyes on the picture of the cake, I wanted to keep it all myself buttttt 1) I don’t need the calories and 2) I know just the person who would love it if I shared with him – my father. Quick back story – my mom makes an AMAZING carrot cake. We usually have it on Easter Sunday, but this year my mom is going north to take care of her mom (my grandma is have major surgery a few days before Easter). With my two siblings off at school, it’s going to be me and my dad. Although he’s exciting about spending time with me, he’s really bummed we can’t be together as a family (I’m with him on that!) I would love to surprise him with this cake!
