Harry & David Gift Basket Giveaway

December 1, 2012 by Julie 1,546 Comments

When I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Oregon to tour the Harry & David orchards in October, a bunch of you shared the memories you have surrounding their gourmet gift baskets with me.

The indulgent Moose Munch popcorn. The rich, flavorful cheeses. The pears.

Harry & David pears are the star of any gift basket from the company, so when I had the opportunity to select a gift basket to give away on the blog, I made sure to select one that included six premium pears along with a bunch of other delicious treats.

Harry and David Gift Basket

One PBF reader will win the Harry & David Bear Creek Gift Box filled with:

  • 6 Premium Pears
  • 2 Apples
  • Milk Chocolate Moose Munch Popcorn
  • White Extra-Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • Hickory Smoked Summer Sausage
  • Raspberry Galettes
  • Olive Oil Crackers
  • Mixed Nuts
  • Chocolate Cherries

To enter this giveaway, simply comment below, telling me what item in the above gift box you’re most excited to try. If you plan to send the gift basket to a loved one, you can leave a comment telling me who you’d send it to and why. (Warm fuzzies!)

For an extra entry, you can tweet some variation of the following:

  • Hoping to win a @HarryandDavid gift basket from @PBFingers: http://ow.ly/fJQRD!

If you tweet, please leave another comment letting me know you did so I can be sure your extra entry is counted.

I will randomly select a winner on Monday morning. Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Yum! I would send this backet to my parents. My husband and I recently relocated to Edmonton (from Pittsburgh, where they live, too) and won’t be home for Christmas this year. It will be our first Christmas that we’re ever apart! My dad would love the summer sausage and my mom would love the pears with her morning yogurt 🙂

The POPCORN!! I would most likely send it to my parents since they always have Christmas for our family and it would be a little something to add to their spread.

I actually remember the first time I saw some of those Harry & David pears, all wrapped up in their individual little cushions. I was pretty young and thought it was rather odd, but now I am dying to try them!!

The pears! Harry and David has the best pears I have ever tasted. I would give this basket to my aunt and uncle as they host Christmas dinner every year. My parents used to host Christmas dinner every year until they moved out the area. I know how much hard work they do to make sure everyone has a wonderful holiday, and this would be a great way to say thank you!

Tough decision but I have to go with the Raspberry Galettes. I’ve had a serious raspberry craving for a week now and it ain’t cheap seeing as the berry season is long gone. Every day for breakfast last week: raspberries, Greek yogurt, and crunchy cereal all mixed together and blowing my mind. Thanks for the opportunity to win this sweet prize!

I’d be most excited to try the pears, since it’s one of the few things I’ve yet to try from Harry and David lol. However, I would probably gift the basket to my grandmother. It’s become somewhat of a Christmas tradition for me to send her a Harry and David basket for Christmas every year. Se loves sweets, so I try to mix it up and put different things for her to try year after year. She loves it, and so do I!

The most interesting item to me is the bag of olive oil crackers. I love olive oil and would love to try them-especially paired with the sausage! If I won the basket, however, I would most likely send it to my brother and sister-in-law. They just found out that they are expecting their second child after 2 years of unsuccessful efforts. They deserve a little stress reliever!
