Harry & David Gift Basket Giveaway

December 1, 2012 by Julie 1,546 Comments

When I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Oregon to tour the Harry & David orchards in October, a bunch of you shared the memories you have surrounding their gourmet gift baskets with me.

The indulgent Moose Munch popcorn. The rich, flavorful cheeses. The pears.

Harry & David pears are the star of any gift basket from the company, so when I had the opportunity to select a gift basket to give away on the blog, I made sure to select one that included six premium pears along with a bunch of other delicious treats.

Harry and David Gift Basket

One PBF reader will win the Harry & David Bear Creek Gift Box filled with:

  • 6 Premium Pears
  • 2 Apples
  • Milk Chocolate Moose Munch Popcorn
  • White Extra-Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • Hickory Smoked Summer Sausage
  • Raspberry Galettes
  • Olive Oil Crackers
  • Mixed Nuts
  • Chocolate Cherries

To enter this giveaway, simply comment below, telling me what item in the above gift box you’re most excited to try. If you plan to send the gift basket to a loved one, you can leave a comment telling me who you’d send it to and why. (Warm fuzzies!)

For an extra entry, you can tweet some variation of the following:

  • Hoping to win a @HarryandDavid gift basket from @PBFingers: http://ow.ly/fJQRD!

If you tweet, please leave another comment letting me know you did so I can be sure your extra entry is counted.

I will randomly select a winner on Monday morning. Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I would be most excited to try the pears. I cannot believe that I grew up in Oregon and have never had one!

I’ve never had Harry & David’s pears so those would be wonderful. The moose much also sounds fabulous!

Mmm… I think the pears combined with the sharp cheddar would be the best! I had a friend in college whose parents got her a fruit of the month box and each month delivered to her dorm room would be pears, apples, oranges, etc. Just thinking about it sounds divine.

I’d love to try the moose munch – I’ve never tried it before, and I happened to see it for the very first time today while out Christmas shopping. No, I don’t live under a rock – just in snowy, isolated northern BC, Canada!

I’m most excited to try the Hickory Smoked Summer Sausage, but if I won this basket I would give it to my very dear friend and fellow nursing student because without her support I would have never made it through this rough semester with my sanity!

The Moose Munch popcorn sounds great!! I would probably send it to my mom as a happy. That is what she calls a random gift you give someone, because it made you think of them. I know my mom would love this gift basket and I just enjoy making her happy. =)

well, if I’m being honest, I would LOVE the moose much (I know from experience!) but I’m also totally obsessed with pears right now-so I would love those, too. If I were going to send a gift basket right now, I would definitely send it to my sister, who is about to take finals for her first year of PA school, and is totally stressed.

I would send the basket to my best friend Wendy. We have lived in separate states (a 20-hour car ride away) for the past 4 years. Even from a distance she has supported me, encouraged me, and challenged me to be the best version of myself. I think she would be really excited about the premium pears.
