Harry & David Gift Basket Giveaway

December 1, 2012 by Julie 1,546 Comments

When I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Oregon to tour the Harry & David orchards in October, a bunch of you shared the memories you have surrounding their gourmet gift baskets with me.

The indulgent Moose Munch popcorn. The rich, flavorful cheeses. The pears.

Harry & David pears are the star of any gift basket from the company, so when I had the opportunity to select a gift basket to give away on the blog, I made sure to select one that included six premium pears along with a bunch of other delicious treats.

Harry and David Gift Basket

One PBF reader will win the Harry & David Bear Creek Gift Box filled with:

  • 6 Premium Pears
  • 2 Apples
  • Milk Chocolate Moose Munch Popcorn
  • White Extra-Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • Hickory Smoked Summer Sausage
  • Raspberry Galettes
  • Olive Oil Crackers
  • Mixed Nuts
  • Chocolate Cherries

To enter this giveaway, simply comment below, telling me what item in the above gift box you’re most excited to try. If you plan to send the gift basket to a loved one, you can leave a comment telling me who you’d send it to and why. (Warm fuzzies!)

For an extra entry, you can tweet some variation of the following:

  • Hoping to win a @HarryandDavid gift basket from @PBFingers: http://ow.ly/fJQRD!

If you tweet, please leave another comment letting me know you did so I can be sure your extra entry is counted.

I will randomly select a winner on Monday morning. Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Everything! But I would probably take down the bag of chocolate covered cherries first. I received them in a gift basket last year and could not put them down until the whole bag was empty. Whoops.

I’d LOVE to get my hands on those pears! I dunk pear strips into peanut or almond butter as a snack between jobs, or I cut them up and add them to my “kitchen sink” salads (which are everything but the kitchen sink – any healthy protein I have left over like chicken breasts, and my left over grilled/broiled veggies), or I just eat them as a lovely snack on the go! Who doesn’t love a nice serving of fruit you simply have to wash and eat…not to mention the fiber! Nothing like staying regular during the holidays! Ho ho ho!

I’d send it to my sister and her husband for their first Christmas together as a married couple. I’m thrilled for them, but sad that my (also new) husband and I won’t be there to share it with them. This basket would help make their day special I’m sure!

How funny! I was just on the Harry & David website! And then I came to your blog (as I do daily) and the topic is Harry & David… Craziness. I ordered two gift baskets to send to my mom and my aunt because they are amazing. I just moved to Oregon and they flew here from New Orleans to help me unpack boxes, decorate, and get settled in our new home. I absolutely love the pears from H&D.

I would be most excited for pears and chocolate cherries! And if I had the chance, I would send this gift basket to my parents. They have been the best parents that I could ever ask for. I live approx. 7 hours away, so I don’t spend Thanksgiving with them, but I always look forward to spending time with them at Christmas. I miss them every day.
