Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week: Day Two

December 4, 2012 by Julie 1,351 Comments

It’s day two of Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week and the fitness fun is just beginning!

Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week

Today we’re keeping the festivities rolling with a compression shorts giveaway!

Aspaeris Compression Shorts Giveaway

As someone who discovered the benefits of compression gear only a year ago, I fell hard and fast for compression clothing, sleeves and socks.

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are my favorite pair of compression shorts – I have them in navy blue and red – and when I reached out to the company about a giveaway, they enthusiastically agreed. Hooray!

Aspaeris Pivot Shorts

They also threw in the added bonus of 25 percent off the compression shorts on their website for PBF readers just in case you don’t win but still want to try their gear. (Just use the code PBFINGERS on the Aspaeris website and you’ll get the discount.)

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are actually two shorts in one.

According to the company, the outer short is a high performance compression short designed to support your muscles while the inner short features Dual Sensory Compression Bands™. These cross-knit bands guide your muscles into the proper position, thereby improving your pivot performance which helps prevent ACL and hip injuries.

Pivot Compression Shorts

They’ll keep you nice and snug!

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below telling me about your experience (or lack of experience!) with compression gear.

I will randomly select a winner on Thursday morning.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I wear compression shorts when I do a turbokick or body combat workout, but have yet to find a pair that does more than just prevent flashing the entire gym 🙂 Also looking to try compression socks as I’ve heard they are good for shin splints…any recommendations for a brand? Thanks!

After seeing SkinnyRunner and her compression socks, I asked for a hot pink pair last year for Christmas and was SOLD! I hate tight clothing (for everyday wear) but for working out, they help you feel “snug and tight”. Love them!

I actually just barely got my first pair of compression socks after being a runner for the last 3 years…and WOW – what a difference! Makes me want to fall hard and fast too so I would LOVE to win these!

I’ve never used compression gear before and I’m really eager to try it! My hips are always sore from running so I’m curious to see if compression shorts could help lessen the soreness.

I love compression gear. My friend actually hijacked mine and washed it because I was too insistent on wearing it all the time to wash it. Hopefully that behavior will change if I get anything other than socks…

I am a huge fan of compression socks post long run, but the one time I wore compression socks (different pair) during a long run, I realized I had bought them a size too small because my calves were on fire for the last 6 miles! But considering how tight my hamstrings are post long run, I would be interested to see if compressed shorts help!

I don’t own any compression gear! I’ve read time and time again about the benefits, but then stop myself due to the high costs! 🙁 These sounds incredible, though! I may just have to jump on over there and use the code to save the moolah and make my muscles happy!

I have worn compression shorts a lot for running and sometimes I am disappointed because they squeeze at the waist, but aren’t tight enough at the bottom so they ride up. Finally I got a pair that worked pretty good and that was nice.
