Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week: Day Two

December 4, 2012 by Julie 1,351 Comments

It’s day two of Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week and the fitness fun is just beginning!

Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week

Today we’re keeping the festivities rolling with a compression shorts giveaway!

Aspaeris Compression Shorts Giveaway

As someone who discovered the benefits of compression gear only a year ago, I fell hard and fast for compression clothing, sleeves and socks.

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are my favorite pair of compression shorts – I have them in navy blue and red – and when I reached out to the company about a giveaway, they enthusiastically agreed. Hooray!

Aspaeris Pivot Shorts

They also threw in the added bonus of 25 percent off the compression shorts on their website for PBF readers just in case you don’t win but still want to try their gear. (Just use the code PBFINGERS on the Aspaeris website and you’ll get the discount.)

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are actually two shorts in one.

According to the company, the outer short is a high performance compression short designed to support your muscles while the inner short features Dual Sensory Compression Bands™. These cross-knit bands guide your muscles into the proper position, thereby improving your pivot performance which helps prevent ACL and hip injuries.

Pivot Compression Shorts

They’ll keep you nice and snug!

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below telling me about your experience (or lack of experience!) with compression gear.

I will randomly select a winner on Thursday morning.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I’ve never tried compression clothing, but these definitely make me curious! I think they’d be great to wear under a pair of athletic shorts while running. I have some IT band issues in my left leg so I’m wondering if these might help – I hadn’t thought of that before. Thanks for another great giveaway, Julie!

I was on a search for compression pants for the marathon I ran this past weekend, but wasnt impressed with what I saw in stores. I have a pair that are supposed to be compression, but are just not snug enough for me! I FORGOT to wear my compression knee high socks, and ended up just wearing a knee brace and using the socks for recovery 🙂 Those look like they have some serious compression action going on! I’d love to try them out!

I used to wear compression shorts under my uniform for softball, unsure if they are the same thing or not….but excited to try “real” compression shorts for the first time!

I’ve been running for the last four years and have been afraid to try compression anything! By running I mean give or take 10 half-marathons, 5 full marathons and a ton of ranges in between from 5 mile to 20 mile races, on top of all the long training runs. This has been something I’ve been looking in to, but again too chicken to try! Maybe for the next marathon 🙂
