Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week: Day Two

December 4, 2012 by Julie 1,351 Comments

It’s day two of Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week and the fitness fun is just beginning!

Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week

Today we’re keeping the festivities rolling with a compression shorts giveaway!

Aspaeris Compression Shorts Giveaway

As someone who discovered the benefits of compression gear only a year ago, I fell hard and fast for compression clothing, sleeves and socks.

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are my favorite pair of compression shorts – I have them in navy blue and red – and when I reached out to the company about a giveaway, they enthusiastically agreed. Hooray!

Aspaeris Pivot Shorts

They also threw in the added bonus of 25 percent off the compression shorts on their website for PBF readers just in case you don’t win but still want to try their gear. (Just use the code PBFINGERS on the Aspaeris website and you’ll get the discount.)

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are actually two shorts in one.

According to the company, the outer short is a high performance compression short designed to support your muscles while the inner short features Dual Sensory Compression Bands™. These cross-knit bands guide your muscles into the proper position, thereby improving your pivot performance which helps prevent ACL and hip injuries.

Pivot Compression Shorts

They’ll keep you nice and snug!

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below telling me about your experience (or lack of experience!) with compression gear.

I will randomly select a winner on Thursday morning.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I’ve never tried compression shorts! Seems like they would be good for my runs.

I have tried compression shorts before but only the kind made through Nike, I am in love with them! I would love to try a longer style though, the few pairs I have are the shorter style and I would love to try out the longer length compression’s!

This sound really great…..I have never tried compression shorts. A friend told me they may help reduce the chances of a heat/friction rash as u run.

I don’t own any compression gear but these look like a great product to try. One of my friends from high school always talks about wearing compression gear while running.

I have a pair of Nike compression shorts that I wear when I play tennis (which is how they are sold) and also to work out. They are the best! They suck in parts that need to be sucked in and then there’s a top layer of “regular” shorts!

I’ve had no experience yet with compression gear. It’s something I’ve been looking into the more I run and workout but have not bought anything yet.

I have never tried compression shorts/sleeves but have been looking for the right pair to buy! I just ran my first half marathon this last month and I am looking forward to many more half marathons (and possibly a full!) in my future. These would definitely come in handy, especially since I have knee problems so the compression bands are calling out to me! 🙂

After playing soccer for 18 years of my life, my hips (and thighs) don’t lie…. I CANNOT run without compression shorts. I have had the same under armour ones forever and would love to try new styles and brands! I recently got in to half marathons since my soccer days seem to be dwindling and these look long and super comfy!

I tried to steal my husband’s compression shirt to wear for tough mudder since he has a short sleeve one. Needless to say it didn’t compress much and ended up being just nother layer to soak up water and mud 🙂

Compression shorts and capris are the only thing I wear to the gym! I discovered them about a year ago and fell in love. I will never go back to regular shorts again. I’d love to try aspaeris brand! Thanks for the chance to win 🙂

I bought a pair of compression leggings to run the Savage Race in Orlando a month or so ago! But I only got them because they had a tiny pocket for my key and ID? Still, they were great. And these sound even more legit!

I have never tried these before, but they sound great! I love the idea that they help you work out correctly so you don’t hurt or pull anything. As a teacher, I try to set a good example for my students about working out and being healthy. I think that these would be a great motivator to keep working hard! As an added bonus, fun workout clothes make you want to work out more 🙂

I’ve had a little experience with compression shorts but haven’t found the perfect ones yet! I’m in 3/4 length pants 9 times out of 10 even in the heat because I’d rather be hot than have shorts moving all over the place! I would love a chance to try some of these out!

I thought lulu lemon was the best athletic apparel ever, but now I have to say I’m super interested in these compression shorts. I would love to give them a whirl! thanks, Dana
