Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week: Day Two

December 4, 2012 by Julie 1,351 Comments

It’s day two of Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week and the fitness fun is just beginning!

Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week

Today we’re keeping the festivities rolling with a compression shorts giveaway!

Aspaeris Compression Shorts Giveaway

As someone who discovered the benefits of compression gear only a year ago, I fell hard and fast for compression clothing, sleeves and socks.

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are my favorite pair of compression shorts – I have them in navy blue and red – and when I reached out to the company about a giveaway, they enthusiastically agreed. Hooray!

Aspaeris Pivot Shorts

They also threw in the added bonus of 25 percent off the compression shorts on their website for PBF readers just in case you don’t win but still want to try their gear. (Just use the code PBFINGERS on the Aspaeris website and you’ll get the discount.)

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are actually two shorts in one.

According to the company, the outer short is a high performance compression short designed to support your muscles while the inner short features Dual Sensory Compression Bands™. These cross-knit bands guide your muscles into the proper position, thereby improving your pivot performance which helps prevent ACL and hip injuries.

Pivot Compression Shorts

They’ll keep you nice and snug!

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below telling me about your experience (or lack of experience!) with compression gear.

I will randomly select a winner on Thursday morning.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I have yet to try any compression gear but have read so much about the wonderful benefits from them. I’d love to try these and see how they feel. I am not a huge long distance runner but do manage to run a few miles a week, well I did. I haven’t run in a long time now but that’s because I’m pregnant and have a baby due 1-1-13. But I’ll be running my booty off as soon as she gets here!

I have had issues with swelling in my ankles and compression socks really seemed to help. Now I am reading about all the other ways compression gear can help support you and improve your workout, I would love to try these!

I really like compression gear but its all winter stuff from when I lived in the northeast so living in FL I get little use out of it. Would love a great pair of compression shorts!

The only experience I have with compression gear are the compression leg warmers. I ran my last half marathon with them thinking it might help stop my calves from cramping up too bad, and they worked! I have always had very weak/unflexible hips, which has caused a lot of issues with distance running and knee injuries. I would love to try these out to see if they will help any!

I’ve never tried compression gear! But I would love to try them out. I’m training for my first 5K and would love to try them out as I start to run more and more and increase my distance! 🙂

I really like the compression gear I’ve used (limited to socks and lululemon’s crops with “light compression.”) I’ve been wanting to try these compression shorts for quite some time.
