Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week: Day Two

December 4, 2012 by Julie 1,351 Comments

It’s day two of Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week and the fitness fun is just beginning!

Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week

Today we’re keeping the festivities rolling with a compression shorts giveaway!

Aspaeris Compression Shorts Giveaway

As someone who discovered the benefits of compression gear only a year ago, I fell hard and fast for compression clothing, sleeves and socks.

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are my favorite pair of compression shorts – I have them in navy blue and red – and when I reached out to the company about a giveaway, they enthusiastically agreed. Hooray!

Aspaeris Pivot Shorts

They also threw in the added bonus of 25 percent off the compression shorts on their website for PBF readers just in case you don’t win but still want to try their gear. (Just use the code PBFINGERS on the Aspaeris website and you’ll get the discount.)

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are actually two shorts in one.

According to the company, the outer short is a high performance compression short designed to support your muscles while the inner short features Dual Sensory Compression Bands™. These cross-knit bands guide your muscles into the proper position, thereby improving your pivot performance which helps prevent ACL and hip injuries.

Pivot Compression Shorts

They’ll keep you nice and snug!

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below telling me about your experience (or lack of experience!) with compression gear.

I will randomly select a winner on Thursday morning.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I love compression gear because it makes me feel very secure when running. Without it I feel like I’m jiggling all over the place 🙂

I’ve never tried compression shorts before but I’ve been reading so much about them lately. I have hip/butt issues and I’m hoping a pair might help. Great giveaway!

I have CEP compression socks (in pink, naturally), and they’re great for recovery! I wear them on plane rides too (including a 27-hour, 3-flight trip to Indonesia). I’ve never tried compression shorts, though, but I think they would be great – especially because after running, it’s my QUADS that are shaky and tired, not my calves!

I have never tried compression gear, but I would love to! I have been slacking in the long run department ever since I completed my first half marathon almost a year ago. Maybe these shorts (and being more comfortable during long runs) would help get me back in the game!

I just recently started getting into running, my fiance has always been a runner and triathlete but I never got into it, so recently I decided to start training for my first 5K! I started about two weeks ago, and it has been a little bit of a struggle for me to get myself motivated, but once I finish my run I’m so glad I did it! I have never used compression gear, but my fiance swears by it! I would love a chance to try a pair!

I have started on a journey to lose about 30 pounds and working out will be crucial in doing so. These shorts will help make me feel more secure and confident while engaging in physical activity at the gym and outside.

I never wore compression shorts until I started mixed martial arts about 5 years ago. It was quite the difference! After I started wearing them, the amount of pulled muscles was getting significantly decreased. They also made me feel comfortable when I would be wearing loose shorts so I wouldn’t be flashing everyone my underwear during kicks 😉

I have no experience with compression gear yet I hope so badly to be able to win a free pair! I absolutely love running and sometimes get a scary thought of an injury that could able me not to run for a long time. As I read about Aspaeris, I see how much this gear could prevent injury and am eager to give it a try!
