I Wear New Stuff

March 24, 2011 by Julie 34 Comments

New Duds

  • Dress: Calvin Klein (via Marshalls)
  • Camel wedges: Charles David (via Marsahlls)
  • Bracelet: Forever 21 (It’s actually a necklace that I wrapped around my wrist three times)
  • Gold wishbone necklace: Etsy (The same one I gave to my bridesmaids)

Necklace Turned Bracelet

As you may have noticed, I’m already wearing both the shoes and dress I bought from Marshalls last Friday. You know I never save new clothes for a special occasion. I get way too excited! 😀

Do you wait to bust out new clothes for a special occasion or are you like me and wear your new purchase immediately?

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I never wait to wear new clothes!! I’ve been known to change into a new outfit in the car immediately upon leaving the mall 😉 (to my defense, I was headed out to dinner unexpectedly!)

I try to be all cool and wait to wear new stuff, but then I end up forgetting about it. I actually have 3 dresses from last summer in my closet with tags on them. You better believe I will be busting those puppies out soon!

Love that dress on you — and your rings *hello bling*!

I usually wait to wear it to work the next week if I buy it on the weekend.

Cuz chances of me NOT being stinky and being able to wear it twice – that weekend AND during the week are slim. Maybe I need some of that deoderant you posted about this morning.

I always save new stuff. 😉 I love having an event to get ready for and re-discovering something I’ve bought a while ago!

Why wouldn’t you want to wear new stuff? That’s why you bought it right?? 😉

I don’t wait…unless I buy shorts in October (I live in Canada) and can’t wear them until the summer)!

See, my thought here is: Why buy it if it’s just going to sit in your closet? My mother and I always got into so many arguments about me wearing my “nice” clothes out just to class or work, but why on earth would I pay good money for cute things just to have them sit on a hanger where nobody will see them!?!

Love the whole ensemble, particularly the gorg rocks on your left hand . . . your rings AND the bracelet (necklace?)!

Whether I wait or wear depends entirely on the item. Jewelry, shoes, jeans, and other basics = adorn immediately upon arriving home from shopping trip. Dresses, cute/unique tops, and other things I won’t wear so often = wait so long I forget I own them 🙁
I wait and wait for the “ultimate” occasion to wear something, and nothing ever seems worthy enough. It’s ridiculous.

I am always waaaay too anxious! Once I leave the store, I even have to go home and try things on again. 🙂

Isn’t it kind of crazy when people have clothes they bought months ago and they’re hanging in the closet with the tags on them?!

I wear the new stuff right away!! I usually put it right at the front of my closet, so I notice it as soon as I open the door to pick out my clothes in the morning. 🙂

    Hope you’re feeling better !!

I have long torso and short legs, so I LOVE wearing nude heels, it gives the illusion of longer legs.

Love the color pop of your dress

Ha ha, that made me laugh out loud.

I used to complain about it because normal shirts would look like Britney Spears tube top on me, lol. Now instead of complaining, I just have to make my outfits work for me.

Thank you for empire waist style and Amen to all different belts that makes my outfit.

Brilliant necklace! I can’t imagine waiting to wear new clothes. My Mom will keep clothes in her closet for years with tags on them, so I often help myself when I’m visiting…I mean she’s not wearing them anyway right? 🙂

I wait to wear new clothes until after they’ve been cleaned first. Sometimes clothing manufacturers spray nasty chemicals on their clothes to keep them fresh. Just look at those rash outbreaks from people putting on their Victoria Secret bras before washing them.

I have a bad habit of buying clothes and never wearing them. I’m worried about spoiling them. It’s better to wear them out so that you can buy new clothes again! It’s something that I’m working on.
