Impressed

March 31, 2010 by Julie 28 Comments

Apparently you guys are well-versed in your ’90s Nickelodeon television shows because a lot of you knew exactly  where my t-shirt was from!

LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE!!!

Go Blue Barracudas!

I must say, I am thoroughly impressed (and I’m sure Olmec would be as well).

If you’re feeling a little in the dark, Legends of the Hidden Temple was a game show on Nickelodeon in the 1990s. It was pretty much the jam. 😀

For all you Nickelodeon game show fans out there, of the following game shows on Nickelodeon, which was your favorite?

  • Legends of the Hidden Temple
  • GUTS
  • Figure it Out
  • Double Dare

I must admit, I always wanted to be on GUTS. I needed  a piece of the Aggro Crag.

Workout + Breakfast

Today I hit the gym for BodyPump and actually got my spot in class! For some reason BodyPump has been packed for the past several weeks, so my coveted spot has been taken by the time I arrive. Not so today! Woop, woop!

After zee ‘Pump, I did 25 minutes of light cardio on the ellitpical while reading the lastest issue of Clean Eating magazine. This may be one of my favorite magazines at the moment!

Post workout, I was ready for breakfast.

Pear + Strawberries

I am loving the ongoing sale on strawberries at the grocery store lately! I chopped up several large strawberries and a fresh pear to enjoy along with a cup of Chobani Greek yogurt.

The pear in my mini fruit salad was deeelish. I am so picky with my pears and this one was perfectly ripe.

Wednesday's Breakfast

I also downed a handful of peanuts, but that went undocumented, as does nearly every Peanut Butter Finger I enjoy. 😉

Hope your Hump Day is off to a fantastic start!

Go Blue Barracudas!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Strawberries have been on sale in my neck of the woods too! Only, they travel a long way to get here, and the berries on the bottom are bruised or mushy..but still worth buying! I look forward to the day we’re lucking enough to have that yogurt migrate north!

Ahhh I loved Double Dare and Guts too! I really wanted to be on DD. Oh and I got so distracted last night that I forgot to recommend another brand of whole wheat ravioli! I’ve had the Buitoni whole wheat ravioli before and they’re pretty decent. I think they have a cheese ravioli and a chicken and prosciutto (we had the c&p kind).

I used to want to be on Double Dare so badly!!! I’ve lived in Orlando practically my whole life…didn’t they film those shows here???

The strawberries I’ve gotten on sale lately haven’t been all that sweet 🙁 They sure look pretty though.

Love the fruit action in your breakfast, makes me excited for summer!!

I loved GUTs and Double Dare!! In GUTs, I especially liked when the kids had the bunging cord attached to them and they had to jump down and then jump up to the basket and slam dunk!

Do you remember Stick-Stickley? or What Would you Do (Mark Summer hosted and it involved pies)?
