Lorna Jane Summer Finds
With springtime temperatures already making their way into the 90s, I am pretty sure this pregnant lady is in for one heck of a sweaty summer which is why I was grateful when my friends at Lorna Jane sent me a new pair of shorts and a lightweight, flowy tank to review.
First, let’s chat about the Macy Run Shorts. They are, without a doubt, the most comfortable pregnancy-friendly workout shorts I’ve tried on to date. The super-thick band doesn’t dig into my sides and the drawstring waist makes them incredibly forgiving.
Bonus: I’m thinking these shorts will be fantastic post-pregnancy, too! They don’t ride up and the hot pink color is right up my alley. Plus, there’s a little zip pocket in the back which is perfect for a house key if you’re wearing the shorts on a run or walk outside.
The Lie Low Excel Tank is made of mesh fabrics making it ultra lightweight and fast-drying. Perfect for spinning and interval workouts!
The criss-cross mesh detailing in the back is not only cooling, but it also allows you to show off an adorable strappy sports bra. I personally love this feature, especially when I pair the tank with a unique and functional bras like the Amber Sports Bra I’m wearing above.
Can you tell I’m on a big mesh-loving kick right now? The sports bra comes with removable padding and supports my chest with style!
I also had the chance to try out a new pair of Lorna Jane tights which I had a feeling I’d love since another pair of their tights made my “PBF Favorites” list last year!
The Existence Panelled Tights have a soft wide waistband (again, very pregnancy-friendly) and the material is both smoothing and breathable. They’re flattering but also functional and held up well for me in both a spinning and barre workout.
I paired them with the Bambini Sports Bra (another cute and supportive find!) and the Kate Gym Tank, a soft, relaxed-fit tank that flows over the body and is truly comfortable enough to wear to bed at night!

Those pink shorts are awesome! I’m addicted to fitness apparel, but have a tough time finding crops/leggings that fit well and don’t slide down at the waist so that’s what I would buy and try!
