Maroon Tights

February 24, 2011 by Julie 17 Comments

Thursday Look

  • Brown tank top: Charlotte Russe
  • Sleeveless sweater vest: Banana Republic (Outlet)
  • Khaki skirt: J.Crew (Outlet)
  • Maroon tights: Hue (Christmas present from Off 5th, Saks 5th Avenue Outlet)
  • Brown riding boots: Colin Stuart (via Victoria’s Secret)
  • Belt: Banana Republic (Outlet)
  • Brown bangles: Boutique in St. Petersburg, FL

Banana Belt

If you live in Orland and like this belt, I bought it two weeks ago at the outlets by Millenia Mall. I love that it’s meant to be worn around the waist and not the hips. It can be so hard to find cute belts meant to be worn around the waist and I bought this immediately when I found it!

I love those bangles! I wish I lived near you and could go get them- then we’d be matchy matchy 😉 P.s. aren’t boots the BEST shoe to wear to work ever?!

I need that belt! Wish I had some outlets close by! Digging the maroon tights, too! I loved them the first time you wore them, but hesitated to get my own because I wasn’t sure I’d wear them. I like how you put this together! I need to be more creative!

I have the same belt and I absolutely love it! I can totally relate how it’s hard to find belts that fit around your waist. Looks supper cute!

Oh, you look adorable! And gorgeous! I’d be happy to borrow that entire outfit. Just sayin’. 😉 Just ship it on over to Arkansas.

I LOVE belts that are meant to be worn at the waist. They really pull a look together. Problem though (I’m sure you have this too), but most waist belts don’t have sizes and are often too big. I have to end up creating new holes!

I don’t know if the proportions are right for that sweater vest (wearing that length of skirt with it), looks frumpy at the bottom. Cute belt, though!

you have a small waist & you’re tall – i.e. it don’t look frumpy hehe

You are one of the few people I know that can wear all those different colors and still look put together!

I buy belts no matter what length they are and shamelessly use a bobby pin to hold up the excess belt, if that makes sense. Of course, it has to be a certain type of belt to work, but if you’re not above getting a little crafty, you should try it 🙂

Love it! Although the first thing I noticed was not toilet in the background; it looks like you caught someone in the stall, lol!
