Noonday Collection Giveaway

August 31, 2013 by Julie 1,585 Comments

Two weeks ago, I received an email from Nicole, the marketing manager for Noonday Collection, an accessories company with a passion to “advocate for orphans and help others rise out of poverty while styling you along the way.” Nicole reached out to me to request my help in spreading the word about Noonday and the incredibly talented artisans from all over the world who make their stunning jewelry and accessories.

Noonday

The artisans who make the gorgeous and unique products sold on the Noonday website live in Ethiopia, India, Uganda, the United States, Peru, Rwanda, Guatemala, Ecuador and Vietnam.

Noonday Artisans

To read more about the artisans, click the links below!

  • Ethiopia

  • India
  • Uganda
  • Peru
  • Rwanda
  • Guatemala
  • Ecuador
  • Vietnam

According to the company, Noonday Collection only partners with companies and ministries who assure that their artisans are growing, learning and benefiting from their craft. All of the Noonday suppliers use fair trade principles. Basic fair trade principles state that artisans receive a fair, living wage, a good working condition, and a reasonable path out of poverty.

I received three beautiful pieces of jewelry to feature on the blog, including a banded brass cuff made by artisans in India and featured in Noonday’s fall collection.

    Gold Noonday Cuff

The cuff can easily be dressed up or dressed down and I adore the chunky look of the bracelet.

Since I absolutely love layering bracelets for a casual, colorful look, I was really excited to receive the brightly wound mint bracelet (once again made by artisans in India) and have already worn it numerous times.

I think it looks really cute stacked with the pelotas bracelet in tangerine, made by artisans in Ecuador.

And now it’s your turn to have some fun!

One PBF reader will win a $100 gift card to use on the Noonday Collection website.

You can use it toward jewelry, a new clutch, stationary, a scarf… anything!

    Noonday Collection

To enter this giveaway, simply leave a comment below, telling me what you would like to buy with the $100 gift card.

For an extra entry, you can like Noonday on Facebook. Just remember to leave a separate comment telling me that you did so your additional entry will count.

I will randomly select a winner on Tuesday.

    Good luck!

I have seen firsthand how supporting fair trade can benefit the ones making such items so I’m so glad you’re discussing this! I would definitely choose a scarf (or two) first, then I’d pick a bracelet!

Thank you for sharing this website! My mother in law is a big supporter of anything fair trade and I am definitely sending the link to her! If I were to win the gift card I would have a hard time deciding which piece(s) of jewelry to choose – they are all so pretty!

This is incredible. I actually went to Ecuador with habitat for humanity with my fiancee before he passed away. The people there really made our stay incredible. Such wonderful people. I love their story because it obviously really touches my heart. I think that I would buy their stacked bracelets. Thanks for featuring this on your site, Julie.

Noonday is awesome! This is the first I’ve heard of them but is totally a company I plan to support in the future! There’s so much to choose from…..from an Animalito for my soon-to-be nephew, to the beautiful nahuala trays, to the bangles….and on and on!
