Stonyfield + Blendtec Giveaway

February 15, 2013 by Julie 4,552 Comments

Today I have the most amazing giveaway for you guys! It’s easily one of the most valuable giveaways I’ve ever hosted on this blog and I have a feeling you guys will be psyched!

Anyone need a new blender?

Blendtec

As I am sure you can see, this is not your typical run-of-the-mill blender. It’s a Blendtec blender, valued at $455!

This fancy blender is high-powered (1560 watts) and laughs in the face of ice and rock-hard frozen fruit. (It actually comes with an ice-crushing guarantee, which I found humorous.) For those of you who can never seem to make a smooth smoothie, that shouldn’t be a problem with this bad boy.

Vanilla Coconut Smoothie

The Blendtec is high-powered enough to be used as a food processor and easily blends nuts into creamy nut butter! You can use it to make soup, milkshakes, dips, marinades, pesto, jam, mousse and more.

As you can see below, the buttons on the front of the Blendtec make it easy to understand which setting to choose to properly blend whatever delicious foods or liquids you’ve placed in the blender.

Blendtec Blender

This giveaway is sponsored by the awesome people at Stonyfield and when they reached out to me about this giveaway, I couldn’t jump on board fast enough.

Stonyfields Blends

One PBF reader will receive a Blendtec blender and a bunch of delicious Stonyfield Blends organic yogurt! The French vanilla yogurt is my favorite and is a fantastic base for creamy fruit smoothies. And I highly recommend sticking the strawberry banana yogurt in the freezer for an hour or so like I did one day because it makes one heck of a yummy, dessert-like snack!

Please be sure to leave a separate comment on this post for each additional giveaway entry you do so I can be sure to make it count!

This giveaway could not come at a better time! My current blender was a wedding gift for my parents 35 years ago, and it has just recently started to protest the ice and frozen fruit that are often part of my protein smoothies, and this morning I nearly burned out the motor! That wedding gift has been the gift that keeps giving, but 35 years is a long life for a blender and this one is ready to be retired 🙂

I love to make smoothies and don’t have the greatest blender. I’ve even had to stop putting ice in it, because it just won’t break it up. I would love to be able to make soup and pesto, in that blender, for my family!

I would love to win this because I need a new blender. I am almost going off to university and I need to be able to make delicious, healthy smoothies on the go. As well, in the blender and food processor that I have, I have given up making nut butter so my family and I are sticking with inorganic Kraft peanut butter. The yogurt is a bonus!!! I love yogurt and I love trying new flavours (I could use the yogurt flavours to make yummy healthy smoothies in the blender).

I would LOVE to win this fantastic blender AND some Stonyfield yogurt because, as a health-nut college student who has no money to spend on an outstanding blender and is stuck living on campus with restrictions against all cooking appliances other than blenders and crockpots (with an EXTREMELY limited variety of healthy options at the on-campus dining centers), I can only imagine the countless varieties of meals I could prepare for myself by making this blender an addition to my little 4 quart crock pot. (:

So funny, my husband keeps joking about buying this blender for me! I love making recovery smoothies and protein shakes. But I have my trusty 20-year old blender that I refuse to give up. Which I ironically won as a giveaway. If I won this I would finally retire my blender. 🙂

I have been making your Chocolate and Strawberry smoothie every day for the last month and a half! I can’t get enough of it. It is delicious and offers just the perfect amount of sweetness. I add the xanthum gum and it is like I am eating ice cream for breakfast. The only problem is I am using a food processor because our smoothie maker broke. It doesn’t crush the ice as nicely or chop of the spinach all the time. This blender would be put to great use in my kitchen!! Thanks.
