Stonyfield + Blendtec Giveaway

February 15, 2013 by Julie 4,552 Comments

Today I have the most amazing giveaway for you guys! It’s easily one of the most valuable giveaways I’ve ever hosted on this blog and I have a feeling you guys will be psyched!

Anyone need a new blender?

Blendtec

As I am sure you can see, this is not your typical run-of-the-mill blender. It’s a Blendtec blender, valued at $455!

This fancy blender is high-powered (1560 watts) and laughs in the face of ice and rock-hard frozen fruit. (It actually comes with an ice-crushing guarantee, which I found humorous.) For those of you who can never seem to make a smooth smoothie, that shouldn’t be a problem with this bad boy.

Vanilla Coconut Smoothie

The Blendtec is high-powered enough to be used as a food processor and easily blends nuts into creamy nut butter! You can use it to make soup, milkshakes, dips, marinades, pesto, jam, mousse and more.

As you can see below, the buttons on the front of the Blendtec make it easy to understand which setting to choose to properly blend whatever delicious foods or liquids you’ve placed in the blender.

Blendtec Blender

This giveaway is sponsored by the awesome people at Stonyfield and when they reached out to me about this giveaway, I couldn’t jump on board fast enough.

Stonyfields Blends

One PBF reader will receive a Blendtec blender and a bunch of delicious Stonyfield Blends organic yogurt! The French vanilla yogurt is my favorite and is a fantastic base for creamy fruit smoothies. And I highly recommend sticking the strawberry banana yogurt in the freezer for an hour or so like I did one day because it makes one heck of a yummy, dessert-like snack!

I would absolutely love to have a Blendtec to add to my healthy lifestyle! I’ve recently started buying tubs of Stonyfield vanilla yogurt to use in smoothies and snacks (SO GOOD with pretzels) and would love to spice it up with a new blender. I live with three girls and know they would be so thrilled too.

I would love to win the yogurt because my two little ones (ages 1.5 and 4.5) are THE pickiest eaters on the planet (I am sure every mom says that)! It is such a struggle to get them to eat anything with fiber let alone probiotics. Yogurt has always been my “go-to” for them to get something nutritious in their tummy yet appease their picky taste buds. Heck, the BlendTec would be an awesome bonus in my opinion.

After graduating with my Master’s last year, I got really into health and fitness. While studying for the CPA exam, I did everything I could to keep my brain and body active so that I could legitimately say I did everything I could to pass…I made healthy smoothies every day for breakfast and even ventured into including spinach and other veggies to really revamp my veggie intake! As a result of this (and perhaps some of this can be attributed to my studying…) I passed all four parts the first time (NOTE: this is hard!). Then….the real world hit…I started my full-time job and moved into my own place…first thing to go, my morning smoothies. This was mainly because I no longer had a decent blender…I put a very nice one on my Christmas list and my mom opted to go for work clothes (which I proooobably needed more). So this giveaway is perfect for me! I’d love a state of the art blended without the state of the art price tag! **FINGERS CROSSED**!

I have gotten into having smoothies since beginning to read your blog, and my old blender that I got in college just isn’t cutting it with frozen bananas and ice anymore. I have thought about buying a new one, and I have a friend who just got the Blendtec and loves it. So thanks to you and Blendtec and Stonyfield for the awesome giveaway!
