It’s Friiiiday!
I’m pretty sure this “Things I’m Loving Friday” post could be 100 percent dominated by things I’m loving in Park City, but I want to be sure to recap my time in this beautiful city adequately when I have more than 30 minutes to sit down and blog. This trip has been unbelievable and completely packed with outdoor activities. I am loving every second, but there’s not much down time, so I’m flying through this post today before I have to meet up with everyone for breakfast! I hope to pop in tomorrow during my travels back to Florida with a recap.
I hope you guys are having a fabulous week and enjoy the weekend!
Here are some things that are making me smile this week.
Things I’m Loving Friday
I bought this at Marshalls in December and I can’t get enough of it. It is the perfect travel perfume because I can use roll it on and the Tahitian vanilla scent is fabulous.
- My Fellow #Omniten Friends
I have had the best time getting to know the other members of Columbia’s #Omniten team. Most people have met before during various Columbia Sportswear trips, so I was a bit worried I would feel left out, but everyone has been incredibly welcoming. This is one heck of an adventurous and fun-loving crew and I’m having the best time playing around outside with them!
- Snowmobiling
Yesterday I had the chance to drive a snowmobile for the first time and I was in heaven! It was a BLAST!!! It snowed non-stop yesterday and driving a snowmobile 30+ miles an hour surrounded by beautiful snow and gorgeous mountains was absolutely surreal.
This stuff has been amazing during my time in Utah! Since I’ve been spending a lot of time outside, I wanted to pack a moisturizer with SPF and brought this Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer with me to try out during my trip. I got it after I purchased a small Laura Mercier beauty sampler pack from HauteLook and I’ve been loving the way it makes my skin feel smooth and hydrated. It also adds a little base of color to even out blotchiness on my face without feeling as heavy as traditional foundation. I’m a fan!
This one is for bug4019 who asked about this hat on Instagram. I don’t think it has left my head since I arrived in Park City! This cable knit beanie is so comfortable (and warm!) and I love how it’s slouchy but still feels secure on my head. Plus, the pom pom on the top is way too fun. I am also hoping to buy it in gray, too!
Past Things I’m Loving Friday posts:
Questions of the Morning
- What is one thing you are loving lately?
- Have you ever been snowmobiling?
- What is a fabulous beauty product you recently discovered?
Tinted moisturizer is such a necessity for the winter sporting events! Lately I’m loving ginger-berry kombucha. It is so refreshing and cleansing. Can’t wait to see your Park City recap!
Do you like the taste, too? I have yet to try kombucha that I think tastes good! I’m on the lookout!!
Glad you’re having such a good time! Snowmobiling sounds AWESOME and that beanie is way too cute :D.
Can’t wait to hear more about when you go skiing!
Looks like you guys are having a BLAST!
I am loving my new planner I got to help organized 2014! So far it has worked out perfectly!
I love Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer too. It’s a splurge for me, but worth it and it lasts for forever.
I’m loving my most recent flea market find. It’s actually a buffet table, but my boyfriend will be transforming it into a media center. I introduced the piece a few days ago on my blog, but he’ll be posting a step-by-step post once it’s finished. See original post here.

I commented this yesterday, but thought I’d repost it…
Snowmobiling?!?!? You’ll love it! My family and I are die hard snowmobilers here in PA (we go north to Tioga & Potter counties for the most snow) and it is a blast! You can go and see places that no one else can see on foot or by car…and it’s usually breathtaking! Snow covered trails, pines, deer, and views that are incredible! I hope you have a wonderful trip!
I want to plan a vacation with TONS of snowmobiling in the future. It was so much fun!!
That just looks like so much fun!! I’ve always wanted to go snowmobiling, oh my goodness what a dream!! I’ve been loving my Hunter rain boots lately, with all this rain and mush mess, they’re perfect for walking into work!
Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer is a God-send! I use it almost every day. Glad you are enjoying your trip!! Park City is such a beautiful, neat city.
super cute beanie
One thing I’m loving lately are my Reebok playdri compression pants for this chilly winter in Chicago running weather! They are great because the waistband is pretty tight, so they stay up!!
I have always wanted to go snowmobiling, maybe I will have to head out and try it on a glacier here. The hat is so cute, I am always in need of a warm cute hat.
Maybelline Baby Skin! Its a new primer/pore eraser. I recommend this to everyone because it really does give a smooth-look under make-up and is great by itself.
I just got my new Erin Condren life planner and I am obsessed. That tinted moisturizer you listed is also great especially for everyday use.
That hat is adorable!! I’m loving barre workouts. They’re so hard but so addicting.
Such a cute hat!! I need to get in the loop with these companies so I can get free stuff too! 😉 Haha, just kidding (kind of). I’ve never been snowmobiling but it looks like such a blast!
I’m loving my Fresh Sugar lip balm – I’ve used it for a while but recently fell in love with the Rose tint.
Something I’m loving – the dark chocolate covered almonds with sea salt from the bulk section at Sprouts. Delicious!
I have been snow-mobiling once. I was 13 and was with two friends. The snow mobile was owned by one of their dads. We took it out in the field across from her dad’s house…with the understanding that only my friend was allowed to drive it. Well when she went inside to go to the bathroom, the other gal and i decided to hijack it. We whipped it through the field, and back around to the front yard and decided to take it for a spin around the house. I lost control and wrecked it into a clothesline pole. That sucker put a nice 90 degree dent in the front of the mobile…
aaaand that was the end of that 🙂
The last time I went snowmobiling, I was probably 10 and too little to ride one alone! Glad you’re having fun!
I was totally admiring the hat in the first photo so I’m glad you elaborated more later on the list. You read my mind!
I have NEVER been snowmobiling and I live in Colorado! What the heck! It’s on my to-do list for sure. I’m loving that pink hat!
I just got the same LM product, I have never tried her brand before but heard wonderful things, and so far I’m a FAN TOO! ;-D
Well, it’s not a makeup product, but I just bought this Timex watch and I love it. I love the price as well. http://www.timex.ca/TIMEX-MODERN-ORIGINALS-GRANDE-CLASSICS-SKT2N795AW-P1326C250.aspx?l=e
I have similar coloring to yours and was looking for a good coverage nude lipgloss. MAC’s Tinted Lipglass in Florabundance has been terrific. The look is so pretty with bit of a darker eye! (A little expensive, but I had a gift card, so I went for it.) :0)
Good to hear your having fun in Park City! I’ve never tried snowboarding; Im more of a skiing gal myself. This week I’ve been loving reading! I just finished Sarah’s Key and now Im starting Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks! PS. I think you should start up your book club again!
Ive never been snowmobiling but it looks beyond fun! Im glad youre having a great time in Park City!
Love that hat — it’s so cute!
Thanks, Julie!! I found the hat on amazon for $17.50 with Prime. Woot! Also, I love these posts. Look forward to them each Friday!
I would love to go snowmobiling! I think I would be scared but the fun level may push me past my fear. 🙂 As everyone else said…Great Watch Cap! The color is beautiful. Can’t wait to hear about your trip. HAVE FUN!
Love the hat!
So lucky you got a chance to go snow mobiling! It’s the best! And the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer is the BEST. I’ve been using it for years and have never found something I like better.
It’s so fun seeing you all bundled up in winter gear – super cute as always! Looks like you’re having a blast!
I’ve never been snowmobiling before… that’d be pretty cool!!
What a convenient perfume!! Instead of spraying and misting everyone in the area it just rolls on!! How cool! 🙂
I hope you enjoy your weekend! 🙂
Snowmobiling .. . . .YIKES!! My husband and I went with a tour group through Yellowstone National Park the day after getting engaged. My husband was driving at 60+ mile per hour trying to keep up while on was on the back crying and screaming for him to slow down and highly questioning my “yes”. He couldn’t hear me because they are so loud! Needless to say, I survived, it was beautiful and we still get married.
Pardon the grammatical typos.
Snowmobiling sounds hella fun! I’ve never been but most def going to try it in the near future. With all this snow we got this week I could have. lol. And I am in love with eos. It’s so smooth, smells great. And involves no touching of my face!
My clients love them as well. I always gift them. Hope you have a safe trip back!
Fun!!! That is awesome that you went snowmobiling!
I love that hat–so cute 🙂
Lately I have been loving this homemade bees wax mixture that I can use on my lips, face, body, etc. It is so amazing! It was a gift to me though, so I am not sure how to get more of it ha!
LOVE that hat- so cute! I’m loving the fact that it’s supposed to get into the 50s on Monday… WOO HOO! I can finally emerge from hibernation 🙂
Benefit Brow Zings. Amazing and so natural looking.
Sounds like fun! Snowmobiling is where it’s at. Have you guys gone snowboarding/skiing yet?
Happy Friday!
I am obsessed with everything in this post. LOVE the mountains in the winter time 🙂
I’ve ALWAYS wanted to go snowmobiling when we’ve gone skiing in the past. I’m glad to know it’s as much fun as I thought it would be!
I’ve been loving Palmer’s cocoa butter as a moisturizer! My naturally dry skin + the winter air is wreaking havoc on my hands and feet, so I’ve basically been bathing in the stuff every morning and night. I’m finally starting to feel some softness in my skin!
That hat is really cute! I get what you mean when you say you like it slouchy, but secure. Sounds great!
I hope the rest of your trip is amazing!
Yay for Laura Mercier moisturizer! I love that stuff; I even used it for my wedding day make-up!
Snowmobiling is so great! I did it a few weeks ago when I was living in Winter Park, CO. It was so beautiful! Also, I got offered a job at the resort you are staying at and was supposed to start right after Christmas but I decided finishing school was the better idea! I would have loved to meet you.
1. I’m Canadian and I’ve never been snowmobiling. I don’t know if I’d be scared to try it!
2. Rollball perfumes are the best
3. Loving tinted moisturizers, right now I’m using the Dior BB “Hydralife” or something – I’ve even repurchased it.
Snow mobiles are SO much fun!
Things I loved this Friday…juju bee! Miss you! Looks like you’re having a blast! Stay warm and keep the pics coming. It’s gorgeous there!! Xoxo ps LOVE your packing post. The comments have been so helpful too! I’m going to need some serious help in just a few months :)). Eee!!
Thanks for the comment, Les!! Love you! Xoxo
looks like fun!
weird question, but the girl in the last photo with the long blond hair, is her name Cassidy? I swear, she looks like a girl I went to high school with lol!
Nope! 🙂
I am LOVING my Maybelline Color Whisper gloss in Who Wore It Red-er. Pop of color without being crazy. And cheeeeaaaaap!
