When Breakfast Smiles at You

November 19, 2010 by Julie 60 Comments

It’s hard not to be in a good mood when you look down at your breakfast plate and it smiles back at you.

Grin!

  • Eyes = Peanut butter sandwich
  • Nose = Oatmeal pumpkin spice cookie
  • Smile = Nanner

Peanut Buttah!

Starting the Day Right

Just in case you need some help smiling this morning here are three things that might make you crack a grin:

  1. It’s Friday (Woo!)
  2. Listen to “Teenage Dream” by Darrin Criss of Glee (Just trrrry not to sing along. It’s impossible.)
  3. Remember that Sadie loves you

"It's true! I do!"

What is making YOU smile today?

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Cookies for breakfast = win. Also, on the topic of Glee covers. I was totally surprised that I really liked Gwyneth Paltrow’s rendition of “Forget You” this past week. Did you like it?

LOVE this post! Sadie looks absolutely adorable! A couple things have already made me smile today. 🙂 My kitty “worked out” with me this morning, trying to sit on my lap or climb on my legs during lunges while I worked out to Insanity this morning. She was purring the entire time and I just wanted to eat her up it was so cute. (It’s becoming our quality time together my morning workouts). It’s also really sunny today and our company is having an OSU tailgate in our parking lot at 4pm this afternoon and I’m setting up for it! 🙂 Can’t wait!

Today I’m smiling because it’s Friiiiiiiiiday!!! 🙂 Woo hoo!

I’m also smiling because in 21 days we are adding another kitten to our household.. making us a family of four (me, husband-2-be, and our two cats)… I’m so excited!

I really want a big dog like Sadie but until I work part-time and have more time at home, I can’t justify getting a dog. I’d feel bad if he was lonely 9 hours a day 🙁 so for now, we will be a crazy cat family!

Other things that made me smile:

    3) Thanksgiving is ALMOST here
    4) It’s Friday! (even though I have to do school work all weekend)

Its so important to find happiness in the smallest things in life! It makes your day THAT much better!

I’m smiling because my boyfriend has off work today so we get to spend quality time together! (Which means I’m going to force him to come food shopping with me..muahhaa…) And because I am super inspired by this lecture I went to the other night about how to expect miracles (I just posted about it) and it is alll about being open to recieve them! Which you are clearly doing with your smiley faced breakfast! 😉

    Enjoy your weekend!

hahah omg you’re SO right! I LOVE Glee, but that song is the only one too date that I actually went RIGHT to my computer after the show aired, and watched it about a hundred times. It’s an amazing rendition!! I heard that the recording was done by a High School Acapella group called the Beezlebubs… which turns out to be at a High School of a friend of mine :).
On a side note – today is a vacation day for me = SMILING!! 🙂 (and a bit of shopping!!)

Reasons I am smiling today: I am coming home today (from college) for break! My boyfriend is picking me up from the airport, and I’m also going to get this amazing breakfast with a friend that I feel you would love. It’s like a thick smoothie with granola in a bowl (a.k.a. heaven) and the best part is they can be customized.
Check out there website, they are called Rush Bowls. They sell them at whole foods (I don’t know what locations) but they are way better when they are made fresh.
