White Out

January 7, 2010 by Julie 8 Comments

My lunch today was almost a complete white out!

  • Carba Nada egg fettuccine noodles
  • Laughing Cow light Swiss cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Cauliflower

White food overload! Fortunately I had some leftover Brussels sprouts to add a punch of green to my pasta bowl.

White (+ Green!) Pasta Bowl

Tasty!

There are so many things I love about food… the taste, texture, smell and even the color. A blah colorless meal isn’t nearly as appealing to me as one with fresh foods and vibrant colors.

I think certain foods are honestly beautiful.

I love the look of a plump apple or a bowl full of fresh, shiny cherries.

What food do you think is beautiful?

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I love that you eat white food – since so many people go on the ‘no white food’ diet!! WTF??

I think fruit is GORGEOUS. I love making centerpeices out of it.

I think all home made food is beautiful. It’s all that love & care we put into it whilst making it that makes it extra special.

Just stumbled on your blog, really enjoy it. I love the way onions look right when they caramelize.

Salads and fruits are totally beautiful! But lately since I take pics for my blog I’ve noticed that same thing even more. I’m just thinking about it as more of an art form. Even ugly ‘ol oats sometimes make a pretty picture!
