Mondays are Better with Peanut Butter

October 25, 2010 by Julie 29 Comments

There’s nothin’ like a little peanut butter to begin the week on a good note!

PB + Nutmeg

This morning my breakfast included a whole wheat English muffin topped with peanut butter, nutmeg and peach slices.

Millions of Peaches, Peaches for Me

Gotta love a good ol’ pb & p breakfast sandwich!

On the side I enjoyed a cup of Chobani strawberry banana Greek yogurt.

Strawberry Banana Chobani

I may be going out on a limb here, but I think the strawberry banana Chobani Greek yogurt tastes like dessert. It’s no ice cream, but there’s something about it that reminds me of custard, or a lighter version of gelato. Perhaps I am crazy?

The Spread

I also snagged a tumbler full of Barnie’s French vanilla and cinnamon butter cookie coffee for free from my gym after BodyPump this morning.

Sip, Sip

Pretty darn good!

Time to get to work. See ya fo’ lunch!

Chobani IS better! Creamier and less bitter and doesn’t have that silly paper thing that always drips yogurt juice all over the counter.

I’ve actually never seen the strawberry banana flavor! What a bummer. I love the honey, strawberry, and pineapple flavors of Chobani best.

That cinnamon butter cookie coffee sounds delicious. I love flavored ones. I tried Butter Pecan once at some cafe place and it was very good. So if you run across that, definitely try it!

I’ve never had Chobani…is it very tart? I usually buy the plain Fage for cooking, and occasionally mixing with pumpkin, honey and pumpkin pie spice for a deeeeelish breakfast!

I have to agree with you on the yogurt. I love it! The pomegranate is my new favorite! 🙂 It tasted so much like dessert that I managed to be satisfied with that rather than a gooey sticky bun at a bakery!
