Awesome Response

May 2, 2012 by Julie 47 Comments

I awoke to quite an awesome surprise!

gmail

Nearly 200 emails from you guys sharing your amazing experiences volunteering in your communities! I already started reading them and cannot wait to showcase your involvement on Peanut Butter Fingers.

Since the response to my call for volunteer experiences was way more awesome than I anticipated, I think I may turn your submissions into a series on the blog and roll them out over the next few months, highlighting a few at a time.

Since there were so many submissions (which is great!), it may take me a while to get to yours, but I promise a response at some point! I’m so grateful to have such phenomenal readers who give back and want to share about their experiences. You guys are freakin’ awesome.

I am also closing submissions at this point because I want to keep this project manageable and give your emails the attention they deserve. If you guys enjoy the series about volunteer organizations, I’ll open them back up once I’m through the current submissions. Thank you!!

Workout

Today’s workout was a throw back workout from the Best Body Boot Camp. I randomly selected a circuit workout from week five of the program to complete this morning after 20 minutes on the elliptical.

Breakfast

Breakfast this morning had Sadie drooling.

  • Eggs
  • Chicken sausage
  • Cheese

She was in odor overload!

I made myself scrambled eggs packed with chicken sausage, tomatoes and shredded cheese and served them with a toasted English muffin and a hot mug of coffee.

If that plate doesn’t make a dog drool, I’m not sure what will.

See ya shortly with another cruise recap post!

Howdy! Quick question since your the elliptical queen! I never used one until yesterday…I usually run but I’ve pull something in my glute which doesn’t hurt on the elliptical strangely enough. When you do 20 minutes what sort of ramp and resistance do you do?

the ellipticals at my gym go up to 20 and i do it at a level 10 with the ramp at a 9. 🙂
