Butt Warmer

December 8, 2010 by Julie 37 Comments

Whoever invented butt-warming seats in cars deserves a seriously intense hug.

Warm Those Buns!

(Source)

I’ve heard time and time again that we lose the most heat from our head, hands and feet, but I would make the argument that if your butt is cold, YOU are cold… no matter how warm your feet may be.

The fact that I want to hug the inventor of the butt warmer probably tells you that it is still awfully chilly in Orlando.

Fortunately I had a BodyPump class to warm me up this morning!

We had a substitute instructor today who just happened to be Tim, my favorite BodyPump instructor from several months ago! Tim left his position at my gym to pursue other opportunities, but it was great to see him again this morning and experience the enthusiasm that he brings to any group exercise class that he teaches. He even let me pick the song for the lunge track. Woo! 😀

After the ‘Pump, I came home, took Sadie on a quick walk and sat down to a warm breakfast!

Cheese 'n' Apple 'Dilla

I made myself a cheese and apple quesadilla on a whole wheat tortilla using Colby jack cheese and thin slices of a McIntosh apple. The apple slices that didn’t make the quesadilla went directly into my mouth. 😀

Apples and Cheese Fo' Me!

Festive and Red

I love how beautifully white the flesh of a McInstosh apple appears.

Dilla in Mah Billa (err, Belly)

I prepared this ‘dilla microwave-style by heating two sticks of string cheese on top of the tortilla before adding the apple slices. The whole meal came together in less than two minutes. Sha-zaam!

While waiting for the cheese to melt, I also enjoyed a handful of holiday pretzels.

Chocolate first thing in the morning is fine by me! 😀

Time to work!
