Square Pizza Slices

February 13, 2010 by Julie 7 Comments

After work yesterday Ryan and I went to see two different small houses that are were in the running for us to rent when we move out at the end of March. First, I enjoyed a quick afternoon snack of a piece of EarthGrains wheat berry with honey bread, toasted and lightly buttered. I was excited to receive…

The Capital Grille Nutrition Facts

February 12, 2010 by Julie 21 Comments

I am not someone who is on the fence with how I feel about restaurants posting their nutrition facts for the public to see. I think it’s so important for Americans today to understand exactly what they’re eating. Old Standby

February 11, 2010 by Julie 6 Comments

Lunch today was the old standby: a ham ‘n’ swiss sandwich. I melted a slice of Alpine Lace Swiss cheese on a whole wheat Thomas’ bagel thin before adding honey roasted ham and romaine lettuce to the mix. On the side I enjoyed beets and carrot sticks. An odd combination, I’ll admit, but it was…

SHOES!

February 11, 2010 by Julie 22 Comments

It took me months and multiple appointments at a handful of bridal boutiques to find the dress, but approximately 1.5 seconds to find the perfect wedding shoes. (This picture is currently my desktop background. Don’t judge. 😉 ) I saw these gorgeous Badgley Mischka shoes in a bridal magazine this past weekend and fell in…
