July 11, 2011 by Julie 35 Comments

Quite a few of you asked about the bridesmaid dresses and accessories from my friend Leah’s wedding, so here are the details!

leah's wedding 002

  • Dress: LulaKate (Style: Christy)
  • Shoes: Kelly & Katie (Style: Dahlia, via DSW.com)
  • Bracelet: Jessica Simpson (via Macy’s)
  • Earrings: Swarovski Crystal for all bridesmaids but me since I don’t have my ears pierced. My earrings were clip-ons from Etsy.com!

That colour is absolutely stunning! I would have never thought of it in a million years to use in a wedding, but now that I see it on a group of bridesmaids, it’s gorgeous!

Loves the dress! Our bridesmaids wore cobalt blue, and I think it’s a shade that super summery and flattering on all skin tones!

What a gorgeous ensemble! Definitely pieces that won’t be sold on Craigslist a few days after…except maybe your clunky shoes? 😛

haha yes! the clunky shoes have got to go. they’re so cute, but the size just wasn’t right for me and my feel were sliding around ALL night.

The dress is super flattering on you.

And don’t have your ears pierced! That is crazy talk. I thought my mom was the only one left in the world but she will be happy to know there’s another one of you out there. 🙂

Oh random – but your friend on the left (my left, your right in the picture) totally reminds me of Christine Taylor (Ben Stiller’s wife). This is the second time seeing a pic of her and me thinking that…so it must be true! 🙂

    You look great in blue!

It’s too bad it doesn’t look like you could easily wear them again, but at least they were cute for the wedding!

Ok, totally ignore that about your wedding earrings- I thought you had pearl earrings (like in a cluster kind of) but I guess I’m thinking of someone else, because I just looked @ your wedding pics & didn’t see you wearing earrings. Oops! 🙂

No earrings?! Pretty sure that’s all you’ll hear from this post.

I don’t have earring holes either.

Do you wear clipons a lot? I find that they hurt my ear lobes a lot. /:

You look beautiful in that colbalt blue! I was in a wedding where we all wore that color too and I think it’s a very flattering color on all skin tones! Hope you had fun at the wedding! PS I love her bouquets!

I don’t have my ears pierced either! Nothing wrong with that- I wasn’t allowed growing up (and believe me I begged my mum and dad!) and now I can’t be bothered with it and I can save my money for other accessories!

Gorgeous color on those dresses, but I do hope you all got a discount–the web link said they were about $300 per dress? Eek.

omg I’m shocked to see how many of us are in the no earring club! I think it deserves its own post! My friend Megan, also a UCF grad, is a clip on girl too! And we survived pageants sans earrings which was hard!

The whole “no earring” conversation going on is so funny – I don’t have my ears pierced either!! Everyone always thinks it’s SO strange that I don’t have a single piercing. I’m in college, and almost every girl has multiple ear piercings, cartilage, nose, etc.

Stella and Dot earrings make me want to pierce my ears though..hmm!

My bridesmaids wore the K&K Dhalia pump for the wedding in pink, and one of them hated them so much she gave it away to an admiring guest at the wedding. LOL! I thought the shoes were awesome and that the guest had better style than my lovely (and outspoken) bridesmaid.
