Joy, Relief and Gratitude

August 23, 2016 by Julie 159 Comments

I am crying tears of joy, relief and extreme gratitude.

The results from Chase’s follow up blood work came in this morning and they were exactly what we were hoping for – He is fine. He will be fine. We will do some follow up testing in November to continue to monitor our brave baby boy but I know in my heart he will be fine. I am so grateful.

Chase 10 Months Old

Thank YOU for your kindness, your thoughts and your prayers. They worked and I cannot stop the tears. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart. I felt your love and it touched me more than you can possibly know.

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Oh thank goodness! I’ve been thinking about you and your family(which is just so odd since I don’t personally know your family but feel like I do!) since Friday and will continue to send good thoughts your way. The power of good thoughts and prayers is amazing.

Sooo happy!!! Thank God!! I just couldn’t help but tear up to know Chase is as healthy as he is happy!! I can’t imagine being a parent and getting anything other than this good news. I just wish children did not have to suffer like they do, it is unimaginable what these innocent ones have to go through.

As someone who is about to try to get pregnant, I will remember that mantra. He/She is fine. He/she will be fine.

I am such a worrier and I really don’t want to let the anxiety take over during my pregnancy. I will try to keep repeating that for when I do get pregnant 🙂

    Julie,
I am so behind on my reading/commenting, but I just wanted to say I am so happy that Chase’s follow-up blood work came back OK.
I have totally been there. Chase reminds me so much of my son who is also blonde, blue-eyed, and TINY (he’s actually not even on the growth chart and hasn’t been for some time). And also so healthy and full of life/energy!
I worried myself so much about his weight. And then we had what seemed like endless blood tests and procedures (poor little guy spent NYE getting a sigmoidoscopy and endoscopy!) that made me feel like such a failure as a mom and made me doubt everything I’d done as a mom.
So, I just want to say that I understand. I feel like if all of us bloggers knew each other in real life we could be mom friends. So, my advice to you is to hang in there! Keep loving that gorgeous baby of yours, TRY not to worry yourself sick so long as he is developing and seems happy, and reach out if you ever need it. <3 <3
