KitchenAid Mixer & Top Chef University Giveaway

October 27, 2011 by Julie 1,181 Comments

The verdict is in: Our new mattress is so comfortable!

I slept like a rock last night.

That is exactly how Sadie sleeps. She can somehow make her scrawny little body seem like it’s five feet long.

funny sleeping puppy

And yes, I will use any excuse to post adorable puppy pictures. If you’re in the mood to look at cute animals, do a Google images search of “sleepy puppy” and brace yourself because your heart will melt.

Ryan was tempted to sleep in this morning after sleeping so soundly on our new mattress. Initially I agreed and we turned off the alarm, but then I laid in bed wide awake and told him we should get up because I have a lot of things on my to-do list for today and wanted to get the day going.

Workout

Today’s workout began with 20 minutes on the elliptical before we headed into the weight room where I completed this lower body workout:

leg workout

Ryan laughed at me several times as I finished my workout with bridges, also known as the most awkward move at the gym. I always make sure to do them in a subtle place, but somehow they’re still embarrassing.

Breakfast

Breakfast this morning was the same as yesterday’s morning meal, only I used an onion bagel in place of the English muffin and Swiss cheese in place of the muenster.

Anyway you slice it, an egg sandwich for breakfast is always a good choice!
