Can you believe Christmas is a week and a half away? WHAT!? I truly feel like this has been the fastest December of my entire life and there are still quite a few things I have left on my holiday to-do list.

Those are the mostly fun to-dos… but I still have some of the obligatory holiday-related to-dos on my list as well, most of which center around finding the perfect gifts for friends and family, wrapping presents and getting all of our travel plans in order. I’ve been sick with the flu and down for the count all week this week (I’ll share more on that tomorrow –ooph!) so I feel incredibly behind on my holiday shopping but since I’m all about online shopping these days anyway, I’m hoping this weekend will put me back on track.

Saving Money on Holiday Shopping

Thankfully I got a jump start on my holiday shopping on Black Friday and Cyber Monday but now that most of the super deals are over, I’m still on the lookout for savings, especially this time of year.

I’m sure most of you guys have heard of RetailMeNot by now – it’s such a helpful site for finding coupons, deals and e-gift cards – and I’ve been using the site and app for years to help me save money when I shop online. (RetailMeNot also has cashback offers and you can combine these with other offers to claim up to $30 cash back in one click!)

Before I buy anything online, I do a quick visit to RetailMeNot to see if a coupon code or a deal is available to help me save on my purchase.

    I recently discovered RetailMeNot and LOVE it. Like, why would anybody not use it?! Just took a look at their website and the deal that I am definitely most excited about is the 40% off at Express. My husband just got a big promotion at work, and I was thinking it would be a great Christmas gift for him for me to get him some new, nicer clothes for his wardrobe and he LOVES Express so this would be perfect!

    The up to 60% off at American Eagle! I used to shop there all the time as a teen, and recently rediscovered it. So many cute items, great fitting jeans, and great sales!

    I’m excited to use the Christmas Tree Shoppes coupon! There’s a great store a few hours away, in the town where my in-laws live, and we are planning to visit them this weekend. I love getting a new item or two each year to add to our own Christmas decor. AND, this is the first year my sister and her fiance are living together, so I have been planning to get them a joint gift for their new home. This will be perfect!

    We haven’t baked our Christmas cookies yet either, so maybe we can squeeze that activity in this weekend as well 🙂

    Hi! I have used retail me not but usually I search for something specific rather than browsing. I did see a 15% off any purchase at Kohls.. OR 20% off 100! That’s a great deal combined with other coupons and store savings. I will be using that to finish my last minute teacher gifts for my 2 year old! Thanks for the heads up!
