Peanut Butter Packets?

September 16, 2010 by Julie 25 Comments

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

I thought this was Peanut Butter Fingers?

What’s with the packets?

Peanut Butter & Company

This lil’ packet you mean?

That packet of heaven was tucked into a gorgeous card sent to me by Lisa in honor of my one-year blogging anniversary.

Can you believe I’ve never tried Peanut Butter & Co. peanut butter before?

They make about a bajillion different flavors of peanut butter but I’ve never actually purchased a jar for myself.

I’ve avoided buying Dark Chocolate Dreams peanut butter or Cinnamon Raisin Swirl for fear that an innocent peanut butter finger would turn into a peanut butter hand… and then peanut butter arm, and I would polish off the whole jar in one day.

This Would Be Me

Seriously, it could happen.

This morning the highlight of my breakfast was not the yummy yogurt bowl I created.

It was the packet of peanut butter I slurped down while making my actual breakfast.

See Any Boogs?

More. Give Me More.

So, so good. Thank goodness the packet provided built-in portion control.

Breakfast

After my pre-breakfast snack, I enjoyed my yogurt bowl which I made my combining a cup of Fage 0% Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, sweetener and a large handful of Gerber Graduates Apple Cinnamon Puffs.

Big Baby

These little puffs are full of flavor! Love ’em.

Yog + Pump + Puffs + Spice

The Token Food-On-Spoon Shot

The apple cinnamon puffs mixed with the pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice tasted like fall in a bowl. Too bad the morning chill Central Floridians experienced yesterday was a big fat tease. The heat was back in full-force this morning!

Workout

My workout today was just what the doctor ordered… If I actually went to a doctor and they were to prescribe me a workout, that is.

I started off my gym session with 30 minutes on the elliptical before taking a yoga class.

Today’s yoga class made me sweat! I loved it.

I was really into everything that the teacher was saying. The woman who teaches the 6 a.m. yoga class at my gym has the most soothing voice, but still manages to make the class challenging at times. She’s fantastic.

Also noted during this morning’s class: I have the tightest hamstrings on the planet.

Alright mah friends, back to work fo’ me!

The cinnamon raisin peanut butter is addictive. Highly addictive. I’ve stayed away from white chocolate wonderful for fear that same reason.

I love a good sweaty yoga session. It feels so good to actually work your body and stretch at the same time. I think I need to schedule a bikram class ASAP.

PB&Co is amazing! For his birthday I’m taking a friend to their actual little store/restaurant (in Manhattan). White Chocolate Wonderful and Cinnamon Raisin come HIGHLY recommended. I like to eat a tablespoon of the Cinnamon Raisin on a raisin bagel thin 🙂

Yes there is a restaurant! They have all sorts of crazy pb concoctions that you can order like one with pb and pickels, pb + blt, or just plain old pb and honey 🙂 Honestly my favorite is the Cinnamon raison pb on apples – it’s honestly addictive hehe. never thought of trying those gerber baby crackers but i’d definitely give it a go, they look adorable

Oh my how have you not had Peanut Butter and Co!?! It is so delicious!! Rock your socks 🙂 The trick is to hide it behind your regular PB to prevent too many PB fingers 😉 That’s what I do anyway. The White Chocolate is super sweet, not very peanut buttery. And must keep the Dark Chocolate Dreams away from the puppers 😉 Started incorporating yoga into my life, and love it. Is it normal to have screaming calves from it?

the Dark Chocolate Dreams from PB&Co is one of my vices. If you can restrain yourself from inhaling the whole jar, you should invest in a jar — for those days when you just need to start your day off with dessert — or at least dessert like oatmeal. Its worth it. And SO amazing.

I just bought my first jar of PB & Co. brand–Dark Chocolate Dreams Peanut Butter yesterday. It rocks my socks off and the nutrition stats are same as regular PB. Yaaay for flavored PBs!

Peanut Butter & Co is my favorite brand!! Every single variety I’ve tried is good. The best is making a grilled PB & banana sandwich on cinnamon raisin bread using Dark Chocolate Dreams — YUM!!

I’ve done some recipe development for this company and all the recipes are on their new website… Peanut butter glazed salmon?? It’s actually super good!!

I didn’t know PB & Co. had sample packets! I have had a couple of their flavors, but I thought they were only okay. I guess I don’t prefer my pb sweet.

PB and Co is the best! My best friend in high school always wanted to open a PB and J restaurant — with different types of bread, PB and homemade jelly — when she heard about the PB and Co “store” in NYC she was so crushed– she thought her idea was so original!

The Dark Chocolate Dreams is the most fantastic thing ever! (actually eating a little right now, funnily enough!)

I LOVE white chocolate, but their white chocolate peanut butter was actually gross to me. It just tasted like peanut butter that was waaaaaay too sweet.
