Salmon Burgers

August 30, 2010 by Julie 31 Comments

The solution for a girl who wants dinner now?

Frozen salmon burgers!

SeaPak salmon burgers are all-natural and packed with protein and Omega 3s and cook up in less than 10 minutes.

While I prepared two burgers on the stove top, I made a dill dijonaise to spread on the burgers using a tablespoon of light Miracle Whip, 1/2 tablespoon of dijon mustard and several shakes of dill.

Along with the dill dijonaise, I topped my burger with cucumber and plum tomato slices before digging in.

On the side, I enjoyed a sliced red pepper.

This meal screams summer! With September right around the corner, I’m enjoying all the summery meals I can before fall is in full swing.

I’m off to straighten up the apartment a bit before cuddlin’ on the couch. I think the lack of sleep from yesterday is catching up to me because I’m tired tonight. I’m planning the hit the hay nice and early this evening.

Enjoy your night! 😀

I wish I liked fish, because this seems like a great meal idea.

Though I do have to ask, does anyone else want to pronounce salmon as SAL-mon? I always want to when I look at the word, even though I know it’s correct pronunciation 🙂

OK, I read your blog all the time, but I am breaking my silence tonight! I just had a salmon burger, only I used Herbal Gathering Spicy Hot mustard as the spread: http://www.herbalgatherings.com/recipe.htm. I get it at Whole Foods. I thought I would pass along the note, although I am thinking your dill recipe looks even better! I am glad someone else enjoys a good salmon burger as much as I do!

I guess I’m embracing the fall. I just had a huge bowl of my White Bean Chicken Chili. 😀 It was leftovers from the freezer so quick and easy too. Just the way I like it. Hope you get good rest tonight!

I’ve never eaten salmon (I know), but we have some frozen salmon burgers just hanging around begging to be consumed. Perhaps I’ll have to try one!

Mmm looks so good! How do you like the salmon burgers?? I’m a huge salmon fan but haven’t tried it other than grilled or broiled. Looks like a good alternative when I don’t have the time/money for a salmon fillet.

I’ve never had a salmon burger. I only tried frozen salmon once and it kind of grossed me out, so I’m apprehensive to try it again. On the other hand, your sandwich does look good.

I’ve been loving this sauce on all my fish dishes since I read about it awhile back on your blog! It’s the perfect mayo-y blend without being as bad as tarter sauce!. I wrote about using it today on my bog and gave you a shout out for turning me onto this recipe!

    Thanks again!
