Sippers Coffeehouse

March 5, 2014 by Julie 58 Comments

Hello from the cutest little coffee shop!

Sippers Coffeehouse

I absolutely adore cozy, local coffee shops and after stumbling upon Sippers Coffeehouse in Jacksonville thanks to the Yelp app on my phone a few months ago, I was anxious to visit again when I was in the area.

Local Coffee Shop

Sippers Jacksonville

Sippers Coffeehouse is adorable inside. Lots of plush sofas and cozy reading nooks. I set up a little blogging station at one of the desks that reminded me a lot of the desks I used to use when I would study at the library in college.

Study Desk

Top secret study desk!

As I placed my order at the counter, I saw that they still had pumpkin flavored lattes available and ordered a pumpkin caramel latte with almond milk. (<—Hooray for almond milk!)

IMG_1201

I know it’s not exactly seasonally appropriate, but considering the fact that I would drink The Fresh Market’s peppermint crème coffee year-round if it was available, I don’t follow seasonal flavor rules. Such a rebel.

Breakfast + BodyPump

Before I made my way to Sippers, I ate breakfast at home around 7 a.m. before heading out for a BodyPump class!

Breakfast this morning began with a cup of black cherry Greek yogurt with Cheerios and Marcona almonds and concluded with one of my funky looking green protein pancakes. (I didn’t add almond butter to the pancake batter because my parents didn’t have any and it was still delicious.)

After breakfast, I took Sadie on an express walk because it was raining outside and then drove to the gym for BodyPump. I know I sound like a broken record when it comes to that class, but I love it so darn much. One day I hope to live close to a gym that offers it so I can make it part of my regular routine again. I miss it way more than I should.

Now that I’ve said good morning to my favorite internet friends, it’s time for me to meet up with my family and knock out some wedding to-dos!

Have a fantastic Wednesday!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I’m a HUGE fan of cozy coffee shops as well! I love the atmosphere and everyone just seems more at peace and friendlier over a cup of coffee haha ;).

Pretty sure I still have half a container of pumpkin spice creamer in the fridge! You’ve sparked a craving!

have been joking with a friend that we need to co-author a petition at whitehouse.gov to have pumpkin made a year round flavor. i’m sure it would get the required signatures needed to require the gov to at least consider it 🙂

The coffee shop looks so cute, and I love that they have a working desk in there. I’d be there every day!!! It’s not exactly the norm to sit around coffee shops here for hours, but since starting the blog in November, we’ve found a few that don’t mind our company=) I can only imagine if they had a desk at any of the shops here in Barbados…oh, the possibilities! Enjoy your Wednesday and good luck with the wedding planning!

Lol when I was in school, during finals week those carrels (in the libraries) were prime real estate. I used to see students bring pillows and blankets to sleep there so they wouldn’t have to give up their favorite spot.

That is so smart- I have never seen desks like that in a coffee shop; more of them should do that! I like being holed up in those type of desks, it’s easier to stay focused! Otherwise I find myself looking around and watching other people haha 🙂

I don’t have measurements because I just kind of add as I taste. I saw your yogurt for breakfast in this post and it made me think of it!! I’ve been eating it with apples and it is so delicious!!

I WISH our coffee shop had desks like that when I was writing my thesis. I would often end up in the library, but would find myself cold and/or hungry. BUT, if I went into Starbucks, I’d always end up people-watching instead of writing. Talk about a great find with Sippers!
