Our Date Night Tradition

September 24, 2010 by Julie 50 Comments

Lunch was a simple one! I made myself a BBQ chicken sandwich on a whole wheat sandwich thin with baby greens and gobs of mustard. For some added veggies, I also enjoyed a side of broccoli slaw with Italian dressing. Minimal effort was required to assemble this lunch, but it was still super satisfying and…

Cilantro: A Polarizing Herb

September 22, 2010 by Julie 60 Comments

I love combining strong, flavorful cheese with tart apple slices. What a winning combination! Today’s lunch featured a Granny Smith apple and Muenster cheese sandwich that I enjoyed along with leftover roasted asparagus. The leftover asparagus was oh-so-tasty! September 17, 2010 by Julie 35 Comments

Whenever Ryan meets me downtown for lunch we go to Jimmy John’s. I love it. Ryan loves it. It works. Today, however, I just wasn’t feeling The John’s. I met Ryan in the lobby of my office building and informed him of my odd change in cravings. Shock set in. Then Ryan said he was…

Moderation Nation

September 15, 2010 by Julie 43 Comments

Wanna know something that will probably make me seem a little looney? Nearly all of my lunchtime pictures are taken either the night before or right after I eat my morning breakfast. I almost always assemble my lunch and then pack it all up to enjoy at work every day. Today I forgot to snap…
