At Long Last

March 18, 2010 by Julie 16 Comments

At long last my leftover lunch arrived! Hooray for tasty leftovers! I felt like I was reliving St. Patrick’s Day in my lil’ cube. I used leftover corned beef and cabbage to make a tasty wrap. I spread a little light Miracle Whip on a whole wheat tortilla to add a little moisture to the…

Kitty Chow

March 15, 2010 by Julie 26 Comments

I think people who hate canned tuna really hate canned tuna. It’s not generally something they’re on the fence about. Personally, I love canned tuna and would eat a tuna salad sandwich for lunch regularly in high school. My best friend Michaela always said I was eating “kitty chow.” 🙂 Sure it’s staaanky, but I…

Salmon Burger Bonanza

March 12, 2010 by Julie 12 Comments

Beanie Weenies

February 2, 2010 by Julie 15 Comments

One of Ryan’s favorite meals is beanie weenies. Not familiar with beanie weenies? It’s a fancy and fun lil’ name for the traditional franks ‘n’ beans dish! Baked beans with chopped-up hot dogs really is a delicious one-bowl meal. Ryan introduced me to the yumminess and I’m quite a fan. What’s your favorite way to…

Sure… Throw That In, Too!

January 18, 2010 by Julie 9 Comments

That was my motto when creating my lunch today. I knew I wanted tuna salad, but I also wanted chickpeas and sweet corn. What’s a girl to do? Throw them all into the salad and hope for the best, of course! Today’s tuna salad included: Tuna Light Miracle Whip Dijon mustard Relish Sweet corn Chickpeas…
