Pancakes + Sunday

July 24, 2011 by Julie 46 Comments

What is a better breakfast on a Sunday morning than buttermilk pancakes?

pancakes 002

Buttermilk pancakes smothered in almond butter and syrup!

I think pancakes and Sundays go hand-in-hand. Sundays are usually a lazier day for me, spent around the house, doing various chores and organizing myself for the week ahead.

Unfortunately this Sunday will not be lazy, but at least we can start it off on a lazy and delicious foot!

Today our plans aren’t exactly fun ones. We’re heading back to Orlando in an hour or so to load up our cars with the remaining stuff in our apartment to put it all in storage in Ocala until we find a place to live.

We’ll officially be out of Orlando for good today! I’m gonna miss that place.

See ya from Ocala!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Sundays are always pancakes or waffles at my house- and we all put PB them too! Some people think it’s gross, but they don’t know what they’re missing!

Good luck with the move! I love that you topped those with both almond butter and maple syrup. I never like just maple syrup on my pancakes because I feel like it makes them too mushy and substance-less. but the almond butter would be so good!

I love nut butter & syrup on my pancakes! I almost always use pb instead of butter on them and I usually get some crazy looks. Glad to see there’s another person out there that likes it too!
