Starting the Morning with BodyPump

April 21, 2014 by Julie 40 Comments

This morning started off just the way I like it!

BodyPump (2)-001

A sweaty BodyPump class kicked off the day and the instructor took us through an old release that is one of my all-time favorites. I loved release 75 when I used to do BodyPump regularly in Orlando and was psyched to have the chance to go through it again this morning. If you’re looking for a great workout song, check out Manian’s “Ravers in the UK” (Hypasonic Remix) from the shoulder track of release 75. It’s a serious pump-up song!

Breakfast

My sister took BodyPump with me while Ryan worked out on his own and after the class, the three of us headed to Starbucks for breakfast and each set up a little station to work. Starbucks Work Station

At my sister’s urging, I tried the new vegetable and fontiago breakfast sandwich for the first time and loved it!

(I forgot to take a picture so thank you to Starbucks for the image. I know you totally thought that was my picture, right?)

The sandwich surprised me a little bit because it tasted like pizza! If you have a serious pizza craving around 7 a.m. (which I can 100 percent relate to because pizza for breakfast is fabulous), keep that little sandwich in mind!

Lunch

We worked on our computers at Starbucks through the morning before driving back to my parents’ place to pack up our things and grab lunch with my mom and dad.

french toast ham sandwich

I know this sandwich may sound strange, but it was fabulous!

Ham + Turkey + Swiss + Thousand Island dressing on French toast dusted with a bit of powdered sugar. Served with a sliced apple on the side.

Now it’s time to round up our things and hit the road back to Ocala. Hope you guys have a fabulous Monday!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I love Edition 75 of BodyPump too!! I just passed my certification training two weeks ago, so I will definitely be hearing and seeing older editions of Pump in the coming weeks/months!

And that sandwich sounds great! It looks like a MonteCristo I’ve had before on french toast!

BodyPump!!!! You know I love this post already 😉 I got trained on release 75—so it has a verrrrrrryyy special place in my heart–and I know it like the back of my hand. haha 😉 uptown, downtown……more hardcore 😉

That starbucks pizza sandwich sounds delicious. When I was pregnant I could’ve eaten pizza at any time anyplace. The craving has calmed a bit, but I will always love pizza. always

Have a safe trip back to Ocala!

That is literally my favorite way to start the morning too! I feel so strong, and so much better when I am able to start off with a strong morning of body pump. I have even gotten a few compliments on my arms!! Who woulda thunk a little string bean like me would be getting muscle compliments!

I keep begging my gym to start a Body Pump class, I’d love to try it. As for the sandwich, sound like a cross between a Monte Christo & a Rachel.

That sandwich looks amazing! Today, I’ve had a granola bar with pumpkins seeds, and a pita with artichoke and spinach hummus and cucumbers and grape tomatoes. I’m craving meat now!

I have never thought to make a sandwich with french toast – genius! Speaking of sandwiches, you should have a blog competition for the most creative sandwich recipe (with picture). It would be a great way for people to share their ideas and learn about new recipes!

Also, you were the one that convinced me to look for and find a bodypump class near me – thankfully there is one! Loved it.

    Thanks for the great blog.
