Green Grape Curried Chicken Salad

The following post is part of my partnership with Grapes from California. I hope you enjoy this green grape curried chicken salad recipe! It’s easy, savory, sweet and very delicious!

I remember the first time I ever had Waldorf salad. My mom made the traditional creamy chicken salad with juicy grapes and crunchy walnuts and I adored every last bite!

clip_image002

Plump, flavorful grapes are one of my favorite ingredients to use in a deliciously-filling bowl of homemade chicken salad and the chicken salad recipe I created earlier this week incorporated sweet grapes, flavorful rotisserie chicken, nutritious broccoli slaw, chewy dried cranberries and crunchy cashews. Lots of good stuff!! But the curry powder I sprinkled in definitely kicked everything up a notch and gave the salad a depth of flavor I absolutely adored.

If you are a sucker for sweet and savory flavor combinations, I highly recommend this chicken salad! Though it’s delicious on its own, I think it would be fabulous folded into a lettuce wrap or scooped atop fresh whole wheat toast.

Ohhh the sweet and savory combination is my favorite! Nothing like a bite of crisp and sweet grapes to bring out the best of your salad :). Great recipe!

Adding the curry to that sounds delicious! I usually find things like this too sweet, so that would be a great addition.

Love having grapes in my chicken salad! One thing I tried was adding some plain Greek yogurt, in addition to mayonnaise (just less of it). Still had the same flavor, but with less fat 🙂

I love making chicken salad with grapes!! When our avocado tree is overflowing, I sub the mayo for avocados. So creamy!
