Mother-Daughter Movie Night

July 6, 2010 by Julie 50 Comments

Tonight my evening was spent with a fun guest… My mama! My mom is staying with me and Ryan for the evening because she has an appointment in Jacksonville early in the morning and our apartment is much closer to Jacksonville than my parents’ house. I’ll take any excuse for some extra time with my…

Asiago Cheese Please + Q & A Fun

July 6, 2010 by Julie 29 Comments

Sometimes a totally random purchase at the grocery store makes an entire meal taste devine. Yesterday’s impulse buy was a container of Connoisseur Asiago cheese spread, which I purchased for around $3.50. Since most gourmet cheese costs upwards of $5, I nabbed this little baby on the cheap! I incorporated the cheese spread in my…

I wish I could…

Our First Registering Experience

July 5, 2010 by Julie 22 Comments

It’s amazing how three days away from the gym can feel like so long!  My body was seriously craving a work out this morning.  If you just aren’t feelin’ the gym these days, try taking a few days off (more than one!). It may be just the thing you need to get your mojo back….

Spending the 4th on the Road

July 5, 2010 by Julie 23 Comments

My 4th of July was spent on the road.  Key Largo –>Sarasota –>Bradenton –>Orlando  After seven hours on the road and a few pit stops, Ryan and I finally made it home.  The morning began with a yummy protein-packed breakfast.  I made  myself and egg sandwich with ham on a whole wheat sandwich thin.  On…
