Chia For You and Mia!

April 19, 2011 by Julie 1,045 Comments

Get ready for some giveaway fun!!!

But first we must cover lunch. 🙂

Tuesday Lunch

Today’s mid-day meal included a big ol’ salad, composed of:

  • Butter lettuce
  • Celery
  • Tomatoes
  • Carrots
  • Leftover sausage
  • Balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Gettin' Mah Veggies!

A cup of plain Greek yogurt with a scoop of grape jelly rounded out my meal.

Before moving onto the giveaway, I just wanted to let you know that the Fashion page was updated this afternoon. 🙂

Chia Seeds Giveaway

Though I only recently discovered the beauty that is chia seeds, once I tried the nutritous little seeds, I fell in love.

Chia!

I fell hard and I fell fast thanks to their amazing nutritional profile (omega3s + fiber + protein + antioxidants and more!). Their fantastic crunch and ability to thicken overnight oats like nobody’s business just sealed the deal for me! Plus, they make a great addition to smoothies, cereal, granola bars, baked goods, salads, oatmeal and more!

And here’s the good news! Now you can win a two-pound bag of chia seeds from ChiaSeedsDirect.com. ChiaSeedsDirect.com is a company that solely sells chia seeds, offering high-quality chia seeds at low prices with free shipping to U.S residents!

Bag of Seeds!

I received a bag of their seeds and have really enjoyed using them in my overnight oats…

Overnight Oats

Chocolate chia seed pudding…

Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

Bagelwiches…

Bagelwich

And coconut granola!

Coconut Granola

They’re pretty darn great.

To enter this giveaway, simply comment below, telling me one way you would like to enjoy chia seeds!

This giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada and I will randomly select a winner tomorrow afternoon.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I seriously need to get on board with overnight oats. Can’t believe I have yet to make em! I’d love to win the chia seeds because I recently started to incorporate these wonders into my routine and love them! I’ve added them to yogurt, smoothies, even just bottles of water! I also want to try baking with them. I found a great recipe for chia energy bars that I want to make. These would really make me try those!

Whoops! I accidentally posted my chia seeds comment on the morning post!

Again, this time for entry lol, I like to make a breakfast quesadilla w/ peanut butter, sliced banana, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, raisins and chia seeds. It’s a heavenly combination and is really satisfying after an AM workout!
