Flyin’ By

February 3, 2014 by Julie 34 Comments

Good afternoon! This Monday is flying by and I’m not complaining about that one bit.

My morning began like a normal Monday with a early workout at the gym with Ryan. After 20 minutes of light cardio on the elliptical, I completed the same 30 minute Razor Sharp Nike Training Club workout I did last Monday and think it may be one of my favorite NTC workouts. It doesn’t repeat too many of the exercises so it keeps me guessing the entire time.

Breakfast

After we were done with our respective workouts, Ryan and I drove home and arrived more than ready for breakfast.

Breakfast began with my go-to green smoothie!

Easy Green Smoothie

After a quick shower, I was ready for more food and broke into a homemade granola bar. (I will definitely share this recipe with you guys this week because it was so easy to make and tasted fantastic! It’s another no bake recipe, too!)

No Bake Granola Bar

The granola bar did a good job of satisfying my hunger through a morning of work.

Healthy No Bake Granola Bar

My lunch break passed quickly and now I’m hoping the rest of the day goes by in a flash, too, because I have lots of crafting on the agenda for this evening. My mom and I have been chatting non-stop about my sister’s bridal shower this weekend and I have a nice to-do list going that’s about halfway done.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

The go-green smoothie looks good! Odd thing is the ingredients are not things I would put together. Is it a tart smoothie or sweet?

Definitely more tart. Lemon and ginger are the dominant flavors.

I find the NTC workouts difficult in the layout of my gym because I never know what’s coming next so I need to keep picking up my phone and pausing it to move to a different spot.. do you ever have that problem?

Drinking my own green smoothie as a pre-workout snack. I like mine a bit more sweet though – so lots of honey and peanut butter!

No bake recipes are perfection in my book! Good luck crossing things off your to-do list. The best thing about making a list is crossing things off.

Have you looked at the calories burned for those workouts? A 45 minute workout that puts me out of breath for most of it, predicts just 104 calories burned.

    Why is that?!
