The Eleven Questions Survey

November 16, 2012 by Julie 68 Comments

As a big-time sucker for surveys, when Erin tagged me in the 11 Questions Survey, I immediately wanted to participate. I always enjoy reading surveys on blogs since the questions are typically a bit obscure and provide a little insight into the blogger’s personality.

Feel free to play along in the comments section of this post!

The 11 Questions Survey

1. In baseball each player gets a “walk up song” that plays on his way up to the plate. What song would you pick?

I would pick the Jock Jams Mega Mix. Our wedding party was introduced to the Jock Jams Mega Mix at our wedding reception and it never fails to pump me up. I’m a ‘90s music lover through and through.

wedding entrance

2. What’s the best thing that happened to you last weekend?

I went on a five-mile walk with my sister, Sadie and her boyfriend’s dog and we talked about everything under the sun. The weather was gorgeous and I always cherish time with my sister. It’s the little things!

Julie and Leslie

3. If you could have a starring role in any film already made, which movie would you pick?

Since Father of the Bride is one of my all-time favorite movies, I’d love to play the role of Annie Banks Mackenzie.

4. What actor/actress would you have play you in a movie of your life?

Rachel McAdams. I know we look nothing alike, but she’s my pick!

5. What is your favorite quote?

Everything is okay in the end. If it’s not okay, then it’s not the end.

7. What was your first concert?

Green Day and Blink 182… I think. I can’t remember for sure, but that was definitely one of the first concerts I attended.

7. What Internet website do you visit the most?

Gmail.

8. Which of Snow White’s 7 dwarfs describes you the best and why?

Happy. I think I’m a pretty joyful person.

9. If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?

A huge seafood feast with ridiculous amounts of shellfish, a French dip sandwich from Houston’s (now Hillstone) in Orlando, a slice of lasagna and a gigantic ice cream sundae with lots of whipped cream, hot fudge and candied pecans. I would want a smorgasbord.

sundae

10. What is the background of your computer?

Sadie. She makes me smile.

    – I would probably pick being Black Widow or Cat Woman, just so I could train for the moves that they have to do. Or Quorra from Tron!
    – I’d probably pick Anne Hathaway, or a brunetter Blake Lively. Anne because she kind of looks like me, and Blake because I’ve always loved her!
    – “You were born to be real, not to be perfect”
    – First concert = Rascal Flatts; first one I truly enjoyed? Jack’s Mannequin *heart melts*
    – Right now its just a “galaxy star” picture from the one’s you can pick in the MacBook operating system. I should change that soon…

    2) I would have Tina Fey play me in a movie about my life. She is absolutely amazing and would make me seem way more hilarious than I am in real life!
    3) Fav. quote: “If you have a problem that can be fixed, then there is no need to worry. If you have a problem that cannot be fixed, then there is no help in worrying.”
    4) First concert: N’SYNC. My friends and I went in a limo and everything.. we were the coolest 12 year olds in the world that night.

    I love surveys!

    1. I would pick Crazy Train by Ozzy Osborn. But only the beginning of it. I’ve been saying this for years..I think I just need to have it playing when I walk around.
    2. Last weekend? I did The Color Run for the first time and it was probably the most fun I’ve ever had. I will definitely be making it an annual thing.
    3. I’d probably choose being Black Widow in Avengers. I know she isn’t the “star” but I’ve never been one to want attention so I’d rather be in an ensemble. It means I’d get to get my body in tip-top shape AND meet Chris Evans. I’m game for all of the above!
    4. Jessica Chastain. However, looks-wise..definitely Leelee Sobieski. Apparently we are twins.
    5. It’s a toss up between what my dad always says “What will be will be” or “Be still and know that I am God.” ..both are very comforting to me.
    6. Mark Chesnut at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo when I was 9
    7. Yahoo.
    8. Sleepy. I’m ALWAYS tired but rarely sleep. I also just hate sleeping. I like to be awake. I’m up at 5 every day. I have to go to bed early to do that but if I could stay up till midnight AND get up at 5, I’d be happy.
    9. Squealer with onion rings and a vanilla Dr. Pepper from Tookies..the BEST burger place down here
    10. Work: a picture of my neice and nephew. Personal: A picture of me and one of my best friends stopping mid-Color Run in front of the Houston skyline.

■What actor/actress would you have play you in a movie of your life? Emma Stone
■What is your favorite quote? “Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised” Proverbs 31:30
■What was your first concert? Carmen, a Christian singer, when I was about nine. I don’t go to many, though.
■What is the background of your computer? Some abstract wallpaper that came with my computer. It used to be Hunger Games, but I lost all of my pictures when I had to put my computer back on factory settings a few months ago. 🙁

3.”Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure… than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.” -Theodore Roosevelt

My first concert (at least the first memorable concert, that is) that I attended was a Spice Girls concert. I was absolutely obsessed with the group and I felt so lucky to be able to go. I remember all of my friends were pretty jealous! Now I just wish that I could have gone to one of their reunion shows a few years back…I would have died!

    2. Amanda Seyfried. I am told I look like her all the time.
    3. I could never pick one quote! I love songs and books way to much.
    4. Even though I am 25, I am very proud of this answer. My first concert was STYX with my dad. He started my music taste off right. Although, many of my friends think it’s weird I have the music taste of a 50 year old man.
    5. My background is one of my wedding photos. We got married on the very top of a mountain, and you can see nothing but mountains and sky behind us.
