Wedding Hair Piece

October 18, 2010 by Julie 155 Comments

I love lunch dates!

I especially love lunch dates when the weather is gorgeous and you can enjoy your meal al fresco.

I met up with two of my former coworkers, Ryan and Ashley, at Caffé Ritazza in downtown Orlando. I enjoyed a yummy salad while we chatted away outside.

Outside Salad

My salad included:

  • Romaine
  • Beets
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Cucumber
  • Mushrooms
  • Broccoli
  • Onion
  • Salsa

Using salsa as a salad dressing is one of my favorite ways to kick a salad up a notch. Salsa brings a lot of moisture, flavor and yummy nutrients to the table.

When I got back to my desk at work, I snacked on a small baggie of pistachios I packed this morning.

Wedding Hair Piece

Okay you fashion-forward ladies! I need your help.

As you may remember from my post on my wedding day hair and makeup trial, I am planning on wearing a pink flower in my hair on my wedding day.

My Wedding Hair

(The pink flower will replace the yellow one in the above picture.)

My veil will peek out underneath my up-do, just in case you were curious about how that will work. I am wearing this veil I had made by an Etsy designer and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. (It is due on my doorstep on October 22.)

Anyway, I am having some reservations about the pink flower I currently have to wear in my hair.

This is the pink flower I currently have:

Option One

I love it, but it’s a little big.

I am considering buying another option…

I think this one is gorgeous:

Option Two

And this one appeals to me too:

Option Three

Now I ask you…

Which pink flower hair piece do you like best? The first, second or third flower?

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I like the idea of using a real flower. Every time I’ve seen that done it has added an elegant touch, and it’s not expensive either!

I like the multiple tones in number 1. If it’s the same size as the green one, I say go for it! But frankly, whatever you choose will look amazing.

All 3 are beautiful and whichever one you pick, you are going to be drop dead gorgeous so it won’t really matter, but I definitely like number 1 the best. I say, the bigger the better! You have a lot of hair so it shouldn’t overpower your updo.

most definitely option 1…it is the most beautifully natural one and i think you being a natural beauty it would suit you perfectly 🙂

why put a fake flower in your hair if it looks fake? you want it to look real!

I like 1 and three! however note: i LOVE plain jane stuff so i’m not sure if that went into the option . The colors seem very mellow and I like that. It’s cute and feminine looking.

…ah i just went back and looked at two, and i really like that one as well! haha.
i’d say two or three actually.

Option ONE. I’m not sure why 2 is winning so clearly here…I think it would be lovelier to have a flower that looks real, which number 1 does, and number 2 clearly doesn’t…

I LOVE option 2. It definitely looks the most classic and elegant.

If you end up sticking with option 1, have you considered maybe pulling/cutting out some of the outside petals to make it smaller? You could also buy mini-pearls at a craft store and sew/glue them in too make it more elegant like option 2.

I like all of them and it’s hard to tell which one looks best without seeing it with your dress! However, I think Option 2 looks the most elegant! I like how Option 1 has a little bit of yellow in it because it makes it more cheerful, and I also like how Option 3 has so many thin layers…it looks so delicate. Whichever option you pick, you can’t go wrong!

I know everyone is a fan of 2 but it looks a little too fake for me. I’m a fan of 3 because the petals have such an airy and romantic look, unless it’s utterly ginormous:) I can’t tell from the pic. Good luck! How nice that you’re down to making hair piece decisions.
