Halloween Food

October 12, 2011 by Julie 74 Comments

Today’s barbeque lunch kept me awfully full for most of the afternoon. Apparently cleaning my plate and eating Ryan’s roll was more filling than I thought.

By the time dinner rolled around, I still wasn’t as hungry as I usually am and decided to make a lighter meal that included grilled teriyaki pork chops, served with a side of squash and onions, sautéed in olive oil.

I followed this meal up with a little baking and snacking, but you’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the recipe debut. It’s a good (and healthy!) one.

Hint: It reminds me a lot of this recipe, but scaled down a bit for one person.

Halloween Food

After dinner I spent entirely too much time browsing Pinterest and looking for fun and delicious Halloween goodies. I figured you guys might get a kick out of some of the amazingly creative creations I stumbled upon as well.

Check ‘em out!

    Jules –

I did the mummy dog thing two years ago; mustard eyes and all. 1) they never turn out like that picture and 2) they’re a pain in the ass, Sorry…no other way to put that. But they did taste good and, if you show up late enough, everyone at the party LOVES them.
