Weekend Wedding Fun

August 3, 2013 by Julie 44 Comments

Good morning!

I hope you guys are having a good weekend so far! From this point forward, my weekend will be go, go, go, but it’s jam-packed with tons of wedding-related fun, so I am excited!

First up is my friend Minda’s bachelorette party tonight. Her bachelorette party has been dubbed a “beach”lorette party since we’ll be spending the day on the beach.

Earlier this week, I sent Minda a basket of fun beach-themed goodies from her bridesmaids to get her psyched for this weekend! I think she’s pumped!

Bachelorette Party Gift Basket

(In case you’re wondering what the little stuffed pig toy is all about, it was a gift from Sadie to Minda’s dogs so they would have something to keep them company while Minda is gone for the weekend. Minda is just as obsessed with her sweet dogs as we are with Sadie.)

Bachelorette Party Gift Basket Note

I can’t wait for some fun in the sun!

After Minda’s bachelorette party, the wedding-related fun will continue through Sunday because my mom, sister and I are going shopping for Leslie’s wedding dress! I am beyond excited and can’t wait to see her in some gorgeous gowns. Woo!

Workout

This morning began with a sweaty workout at the gym with Ryan. I did some incline walking for 20 minutes on the treadmill to warm up before it was time for the tough stuff!

Today’s workout was inspired by the pyramid workout I did on Thursday morning. I modified it slightly and completed three rounds of the following workout:

Circuit Workout

It was a sweaty one!

Breakfast

When Ryan and I got home from the gym, it was breakfast time. We both wanted something fast because I need to pack and hit the road for bachelorette party fun and Ryan has plans to spend the day scalloping with a friend. <— I’m jealous! I’ve never been scalloping before and it sounds like a blast!

I made both of us egg sandwiches to quickly eat featuring my favorite sweet and salty flavors.

Cheese + Egg + Strawberry Jelly

egg jelly cheese sandwich

Time to pack and hit the road!

Have a fantastic weekend!

I wish I had your crafting skills haha! But really, that’s such a sweet thing for you to do for your friend :). You should be my bridesmaid too ;).

Mhmm I love the sweet and salty combination that you had for breakfast! One of my favorites is an english muffin with jam and norwegian goat cheese. Sounds weird, but is the most amazing combination of flavors ever 🙂
