Honey ‘n’ Goat Cheese Halves

January 16, 2011 by Julie 26 Comments

This morning Ryan and I awoke to a crazy dog! Sadie was feeling extra chipper, so we took her on a one-mile walk before eating a delicious breakfast.

I kept my morning meal simple by topping a honey wheat sandwich thin with goat cheese and honey. goat cheese and honey 004Served with a banana, it was a great lil’ breakfast! goat cheese and honey 005goat cheese and honey 003 This breakfast reminded me a lot of my goat cheese and honey dip, which was a very good thing!

Time to change before heading to church. See ya in a bit!

Oh I LOVE goat cheese! I never thought to put honey on it though. I’ve always just added a sweetner like splenda or something. What a great idea, thanks!

That breakfast looks really good, but I don’t think it would get close to filling me up! I need to add honey to more things. It looks sooo delish. 🙂

Your breakfast looks a lot like mine! Instead of goat cheese I use peanut butter. Tastes so good and it’s pretty filling too.

AH! The Skycoaster is INTENSE! I went on that about 10 years ago with 2 guy friends. They some how persuaded me to ride with them. I was squashed between the two of them and I’m sure I screamed my head off. When we got to the thop of the of boys pulled the rip cord that sent us hurdling down. OMG! Intense! I don’t think I could do it again now.

Where is there a LuLuLemon outlet? I may have to make a road trip to Orlando one day. We have a lululemon somewhere in Tampa, but I’ve never been. I’m scared I’ll fall in love and be devastated when I can’t spend $100 on capris!

Love sharp cheese with honey! My favorite combo is blue cheese & honey. Laughing cow makes little blue cheese wedges, which I love on a sandwich thins drizzled with honey! Yum!!!

I love crumbled goat cheese. The only spreadable type I’ve ever tried was a cinnamon/cranberry spiced log. I didn’t much care for it but I think adding some honey for a little sweetness might just do the trick! I’ll have to try it sometime!

I’ve never thought to pair those two together, looks so yummy! I’m lactose intolerant but that looks like the pain would be worth it! 😛

I’ve never had goat cheese before — is it similar to cow’s cheese in any way?
