50 Rep Workout: Part 3

February 11, 2014 by Julie 47 Comments

Another day, another sweaty workout completed!

After a quick 15 minute warm up on the elliptical, I did a variation of my 50 Rep Workout. Can you tell I’m loving this workout format lately!?

Today’s workout looked like this:

50 Rep Workout Part Three

Links to demos of some of the exercises:

  • Push Press
  • Plank Jacks
  • V-Ups

Like the original 50 Rep Workout and the 50 Rep Workout: Part 2 that I posted, this workout flew by! No time for boredom!

Breakfast

After my workout, I headed home and immediately threw together a freaky green breakfast.

Green Protein Pancakes

Green protein pancakes!

I added some slivered almonds to the batter of my protein pancake and served it with a hot mug of raspberry chocolate flavored coffee. As I ate and typed up this blog post, I had a little too much fun jamming out to the Pitch Perfect station on Pandora. (Add that station to my list of favorite Pandora stations!)

Now it’s time to boogie. Off to work!

Question of the Morning

  • If you listen to Pandora or another internet radio station, what station are you loving lately?

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Ooh I like part 3, I may need to do that workout this week! I listen to classical music on Pandora when I’m at work cause it helps me concentrate. At the gym though, I do love the ’90s hip hop station!

I love the station B.O.B. or I did. But why is that Pandora then puts in random sonbs that don’t even gel with the station? Hahaha!

Well, on XM I am loving The Coffeehouse, but I’m usually listening to Spotify!
Love the workout, but I always try not to do *too* many KB swings in a row, or my form starts to break down – an exercise that can wreck my back in my form isn’t on key! 🙂

lol- that pancake sure does look freaky! But I bet its delicious all the same! I listen to Slacker Radio – Workout Dance Remix. On Pandora I usually tune into Today’s Hits since I mostly listen while running and it gets me pumped up 🙂

I am loving your 50 rep workouts as well. Will be pinning this immediately 🙂

I’m a country-lovin girl so lately I’ve been listening to the pop country station. You’d be surprised how country can motivate you!

BTW – I’m using the Nike Training Club App, which I heard about from you – I LOVE IT!

You do 50 box jumps? DANG! I’m still working on upping my fitness from couch potato. 🙂

My gym has free wifi, so I’ve been rocking the Francesca Battistelli station, or the “Thoroughly Modern Millie/First Date” broadway show stations. Downside to the Broadway stations, though, is I have to keep from belting out my favorite showtunes. 🙂

Do you use syrup or any type of topping on your protein pancakes. I was thinking of maybe trying to make them the night before and bring it to work for breakfast and wasn’t sure if syrup was needed. Thanks!

Hey Julie! When you make protein pancakes for breakfast, is that all you eat or do you supplement it with a piece of fruit or something like a banana &PB? Just wondering because I love protein pancakes but I always feel like I need just a little something more after eating one pancake. Thanks!
