30 Minute Elliptical Workout

April 15, 2013 by Julie 86 Comments

Happy Monday morning to you! I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I felt completely immersed in quality time with my girlfriends this weekend and it was fabulous.

Laurel's Bachelorette Party

Bachelorette parties are the best. And they make me miss college like crazy.

Yesterday was officially bachelorette party recovery day, so this morning I woke up feeling much more like myself. Thank goodness!

When the alarm went off, Ryan and I quickly changed into our workout clothes and headed off to the gym.

I completed a lower body and shoulder strength routine from the Best Body Boot Camp plan, but began my workout with a 30 minutes on the elliptical that looked like this:

30 Minute Elliptical Workout

More elliptical workouts:

  • 50 Minute Elliptical Interval Workout
  • Beat Boredom Interval Workout
  • 20 Minute Elliptical Hill Workout
  • 20 Minute Elliptical Workout
  • 50 Minute Crazy Incline Elliptical Workout

Breakfast

Once we arrived home, I had one thing on my mind: Peanut butter!

I decided to make myself a bowl of hot steel cut oats and top them off with peanut butter to satisfy my craving.

peanut butter on top of oatmeal

I stirred the peanut butter into the oats and loved the peanut butter bites!

Time to head out to begin my first day on the new job!

Question of the Morning

Since I’m sure many of us could use a Monday morning pick-me-up…

  • What is one thing you’re looking forward to this week?

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Good luck at your job! So exciting! I’m looking forward to making lots of healthy meals this week. The weekend is always a time for going out to eat so I like to jump back to nutritional meals during the week. Those oats look delicious!

I think anything with peanut butter added is wonderful! I have been putting peanut butter in my scottish oatmeal in the morning and it makes it thicker and WAY more tasty!

Good luck on your first day! Things I am hoping for this week – to hear that everyone in Boston is okay. That’s all that matters to me today.

Isn’t it weird how after intense cardio, we crave peanut butter? LOL!

You start your job today? Yay, I can’t wait to read a (hopefully) recap! As for the workout, I love workouts like these that can be completed in a TV show (I’m a cardio machine tv watcher) that also are constantly switching things up because I get bored with workouts literally after 5 minutes of doing the same thing. This is perfect!

Hi Julie, I just discovered your blog last week and haven’t stopped clicking since! Random question: Can you recommend any online sources or books, for a beginner trying to learn the basics of nutrition and exercise (aside from your wonderful blog :)?

    Thanks!

Hey Julie – I don’t think I have done an elliptical workout that hasn’t been one of yours since this past September when I started reading your blog. I have been looking for a good in-between since you have a couple of 20 min and then the 50 min, so glad to see this 30 min one! Is the third column the resistance ? I am assuming so since crossramp and incline are the same….just checking! Hope the new job is going well and you are enjoying your vacation!
