Cake Batter Breakfast and Mixed Nuts

November 19, 2009 by Julie 18 Comments

Holiday Movie Night Kickoff The kickoff to our once-a-week holiday movie night (now through Christmas!)  was a success! Take away the movie, add in some amazing friends and lots o’ laughs and the night was great! I say “take away the movie” because Mixed Nuts wasn’t exactly a holiday classic in my opinion. We made…

Easiest Pulled Pork EVER

November 18, 2009 by Julie 28 Comments

Pulled pork sandwiches drenched in barbecue sauce may be one of my all-time favorite sandwiches. Give me a pulled pork sandwich over a burger any day! November 17, 2009 by Julie 6 Comments

Just one pack of ravioli with two servings unfortunately does not fly in this household of two. When Ryan and I enjoyed ravioli for dinner the past two weeks we’ve purchased two packages so my manly man could get his fill of the good stuff. Yesterday at the grocery store we stumbled upon a family…

A Poopy Post

November 17, 2009 by Julie 11 Comments

Ever wonder where pumpkin pie comes from? My aunt sent that picture to me in an email yesterday and I just had to share! Who knew pumpkin turds were so tasty? This reminds me of other poop-related holiday humor. Have you ever been the recipient of a bag of snowman poop? Or reindeer poop? Or…
