Wedding Workshop

March 6, 2014 by Julie 55 Comments

My parents’ place has officially morphed into a wedding workshop!

DSC_0030

I spent most of yesterday working on completing wedding crafts, including the bags for Leslie and Ross’ granola bar (that is their wedding favor – it’s basically a “make your own granola” station with my friend Leah’s mom’s fantastic granola recipe serving as the base), their bride + groom signs for on the back of their chairs at the reception and more. It was a busy day but it was full of things I genuine enjoy doing, so I had a lot of fun. I wish I could do random crafty things for special events all the time!

The least helpful award of the day went to Sadie.

Two of Leslie’s bridesmaids arrived late yesterday evening, so today is the day when some of the pampering starts. We have an appointment to get our nails done in the early afternoon and spray tans scheduled afterward. Hopefully I’ll have pretty nails and a faux sun-kissed body soon!

Breakfast

Breakfast this morning came together fast and included a little sweetness.

photo

I topped vanilla Greek yogurt with Marcona almonds and a couple of crushed Biscoff cookies.

Workout

For today’s workout, I took an early-morning Jazzercise class right after breakfast. It wasn’t too difficult, but my legs are awfully sore from yesterday’s BodyPump workout, so I welcomed the easier workout.

Time to run! Happy Thursday!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

You should REALLY considering doing a side business for special events. The amount of detail you put into these things is incredible and every time you post pictures of craft projects, I get jealous. Best of luck with the wedding speech and big congrats to your sister – she’s very lucky to have you by her side this weekend!

And that Sadie part made me laugh. We always tell our cat that he’s no help when it comes to cleaning the house. 😛
