Blonde Ponytail Workout

July 4, 2012 by Julie 32 Comments

Happy Fourth of July!

For my fellow Americans, I hope your holiday is off to a good start and that a day of grilling or relaxing is in your future.

Workout

Today began with a 7 a.m. workout (why can I not sleep in!?) and I got my butt kicked thanks to an awesome girl with a Blonde Ponytail.

On Monday, I saw Jess, the blogger behind Blonde Ponytail (love her blog name!), post a workout that looked like it would challenge me but do so in a short amount of time. Another bonus? It required absolutely no equipment. A perfect at home workout!

According to Jess, the workout is a “full body routine that kept our heart rates up and strengthened our upper and lower body with an emphasis on core work.”

I can vouch for that!

Breakfast

Once my workout for the day was complete, I wanted a comforting breakfast and made banana vanilla protein pancakes, topped with syrup to start the day.

Now it’s time to change into my swimsuit and pack a bag and a cooler and head to the beach!

We’re taking Sadie to a dog beach that we’ve never visited before, so I hope it’s a good one. She’s already amped, so hopefully a day filled with lots of puppy playtime will make her happy.

Off to enjoy some fun in the sun!

Happy Fourth of July!

Question…how do you create the images for the circuit workouts that you do? I think they are so creative and would love to learn how to do that!

Hope you, Ryan and Sadie have a wonderful 4th of July!
